We’re closing in on record heat for this summer. We’ve already broken half a dozen record high days and now are close to the record number of days over 100F. As of yesterday we have had 50 days over 100F with the record being 59 days. The forecast for the next couple of weeks only shows the possibility of one day under 100F so it is expected we’ll break the record. Considering we only had three or four days over 100F last year, and not until September, this has been quite a change.

Apparently some places got a bit of drizzle or rain this morning ... right now the sky is sort of gray and gloomy. Yesterday it looked like winter all day and they say we will have same weather but clearing skies later today.
Not much of a breeze currently and temps are going up to 89.

Our weather station showed a total of 0.08. We had 0.04 in the middle of the night (my husband LOVED getting up at 4 am to cover the electronics in the outdoor kitchen!) and the rest in the afternoon.
Sounds like it was hit or miss here in Napa depending on the neighborhood.
