Tracked down my R/E tax bill, for some reason I didn't get it on February 1st when I should have and it is late if not paid by April 10, so now I have that scheduled.

Got the coffee brewing and working on email. I stripped the comforter off the bed so I can throw it in the laundry.
And I will get on with my list! Off to grab my coffee.

Making progress, got my coffee and cleared the island so I can clean and polish it before I put the Spring Table Runner on it. Oh and I did the dishes too.
Time for my free time on the computer game.

Island is all shiny and pretty so I put the spring table runner down and got everything back into place.
Then I took some of the stuff out of the hutch drawer, placemat's and table runners and used it as the base for the box that will contain packed glassware that I am keeping.
Also refilled the water bottles and got the new brita filter soaking so I can change it out.

Got the new filter in and also got the comforter in the wash, just took out the recycling and put the comforter into the dryer.
Then I will have all the outdoors things done so I can "hunker down" as the weatherman said for the "storm" tomorrow.

Meeting notification posted on the laundry room door, grabbed the comforter and it is doing the "finish" drying spread out across the bed. Had a few areas that weren't totally dry.

Not yet, I have several places in mind. I have been trying to determine how much I am willing to pay for rent. It is challenging because I am trying to figure in so many things, some places had cable/internet included, and then I am trying to determine what I spend on restaurants/groceries to see how much that adds to my "rent", so I can see if I want a place where I can get meals if I want.
I am going to call the Place for Mom people and see what they say based on the amount of money I want to spend.
Then I think well maybe I should just go for the retirement home because services would be there if needed, and then I think well I should just get an apartment where I want to live and then have a housecleaner and I can always get meals delivered, LOL.
It is a lot of figuring but I am narrowing it down, I have noticed that I am not as agile as I once was. This has helped me decide I have to have an elevator and washer/dryer in the unit. So at least that rules out some places.
My friend keeps saying but if you have an elevator you can roll your laundry down but I have decided that will not do.
Oh and I just found out my unit is valued a lot higher than I thought so I will get that money as well, thinking I should just go for the one that has the best light and floorplans.

Having my coffee and waiting for the "storm" to arrive. It is gray and hazy but so far no rain here, I guess it is offshore for now.
Working on my paper and computer games while I clear email and twitter.

Took 15 minutes and got a new donation box set up and dusted the bedroom, grabbed some more books to log for goodwill.
And now taking a break. Oh, I have also cleared email, now working on twitter.

Logged all the books for donation, moved around some sunning boxes that I have in front of the sliders. I realized that the cat tree was too far out from the slider and was wobbling pretty far when the kitties do their zoomies and run up it. Now that I rearranged it should be a bit more stable.
That caused me to sweep all the dirt from the floor. The kitty grass is on the table by the sliders and Sylvester, for some reason, pulls the grass from the side and they end up on the floor dumping a little dirt. So that is all cleaned up.
Then I vac'd the hallway rug and all the little pills I had swept up in the dining room and kitchen and then vac'd the kitchen rug again.
Back to fun stuff, like twitter.

Dipo, don't go too soon to a retirement home, as you don't want to be far and away the most able person in the place, with you being the only person with most of their wits still about them.
Maybe go for a senior apartment complex with the best light, floor plans, and maybe a view? Maybe a place with some social programs in place and where people have already figured out the communal acquiring food thing? And YOU don't have to be in charge, at least at first.

Hahahahaha, I don't want to be in charge of anything.
AND I really don't want / need any social stuff. It is so funny because I don't socialize now, except with my Covid Pod and sister, and that is sufficient for me, LOL.
I am thinking that the normal, not senior, apartments might be where I will be happiest.

Ran the dustbuster over the most aggressious kitty litter and dust in the bedroom. Then decided I should just get out the dustmop and sweep. Looks much better and once the dustbuster recharges I can do the remaining piles.
Next up is make some chocolate pudding!!!

Getting started ... quickly went and paid the HOA bills, they should have been approved on the 18th and I forgot.
Yesterday I got my pudding made and then ended up going out for dinner. It was lovely, we sat outside, saw hardly any people wearing masks.... but I did. None of the servers were wearing them so I guess everyone thinks it's over. Bad news ... it's not, IMO.
Off to grab some yogurt and the paper to start my morning routine.

Finally got thru email and twitter, then grabbed the dustbuster to vac up some little piles and other areas with a few kitty litter. I swear I get the no track but my kitties manage to track it around, LOL.
Once I went to dump the dustbuster I realized that it needed to be cleaned so I took it apart and scrubbed it down. So now it is drying.
Time for lunch and then I am going to water the plants and get the kitties some fresh water (I will use their old water as part of the plant watering).

Did some HOA email. Apparently our manager didn't think it was important to question why we were moving our meeting to Friday when we have had our meetings for the last 7 months on Wednesday. There was a typo on the calendar.
Have all workers just stopped using their brains? This seems to be happening often with various things.
Anyway I responded that I have told them our meeting is on the 4th Wednesday of every month, except Nov/Dec) and why is this a hard concept. Then I asked since she is now paying attention to the calendar have the other items for March that are listed been done, LOL. I was nice but I realize it is a little snarky.
So final result, we are having our meeting next Wednesday. I think the real issue is she has another HOA every 90 days that conflicts with us. She needs to just say so and we can adjust.
BUT THE BEST NEWS .... my Girl Scout Cookies have arrived!!!! These Lemon-Ups are really good! Already had 2 and stopped myself from finishing an entire sleeve.
Grabbed my coffee and now I am working on email and twitter and then a bike ride.

Got thru twitter and watered more of the plants, pulled a bunch of glassware out of my hutch, some I need to donate, some I am keeping and I have some antiques stuff I want to sell. Not sure how to get that part done.
Now I am working on making my tuna salad.

Tuna salad is done and I had some for lunch, now I am having some more Girl Scout cookies... I love these lemon-ups, I might have to go and order some more.
Also was wondering what happened to my Pet Express order of kitty grass. Was working on getting in touch with the Pet Express when it occurred to me to look on my porch.
they must have been stealthy deliverers, LOL, because it was out then and I have had the door open all day and never heard them come up the stairs.
