Wow, I never came back, trying to remember if I did any more chores. I did office stuff, went thru all my receipts from Christmas gifts and got rid of the ones I don't need anymore. Got all my tax stuff ready to go.
This morning I haven't done much, for some reason I slept in and only got started around 10.30.
I just put away the dishes and grabbed my coffee so going to work on email, etc.

Email is cleared, did my Safeway order since I am almost out of yogurt. Also got thru twitter, time for a break from the office chair.

So I made a Stanley Tucci martini to watch Big Brother. Boy was that a strong cocktail!!!
I did get my Safeway order completed but I totally forgot I was going to do my taxes, LOL.
Now I have a full evening of TV shows ... Big Brother, TAR, Resident Alien, Midsommer Murders, and a couple of others.
Plus I found Olympic Curling on USA!!!!

Thursday's Mission
PJ got a shave and bath on Tuesday. She's not particularly happy about it, but I didn't really go all that short since it's winter and she gets cold easily.
Yesterday was just some minor chores and laundry.
Today I balanced the checkbook, finalized my menu (for the month, I was motivated!,) and grocery list, cleaned the kitchen and did a quickie fridge cleanout. That didn't require much since I'm pretty low on groceries, lol, and it was just wiping everything down instead of removing stuff.
Next up is a shower and then when Darren gets home going to Costco. Don't have any other plans for the day.

LOL, does PJ have any clothes she can wear since she doesn't care for her haircutt.
Mopped the kitchen floor a bit, waiting for it to dry so I can go back in a do some dishes and cleanup.
Thanks for the reminder, I do have a Safeway order coming so I usually clean out the fridge, so once the floor is dry I will work on that.
Off to clear email while I listen to my DayDrinking podcast.

War - I am impressed that you do menus for a MONTH! Since there is only one building between mine and a HUGE Kroger's, I only manage a week or ten days at a time. At the onset of COVIDI was going only twice a month or less, but now I have reverted to my old habits.

I got the fridge cleaned out and I am going out for Chinese lunch so will be taking the trash and recycling down soon.
Other than that, I need to do a little cleanup in the kitchen and do my taxes!! I don't know why I keep getting to the end of the day and still haven't gone back to them.
Off to finish getting ready, clear twitter and email, and get a move on it.

Yep, PJ has tons of clothes and right now is in a little knit dress. She's just showing her displeasure because it's cold, lol. I keep telling her I didn't cut her as short as I do in say, July, but she's not listening to me.
TNT, the monthly menu is a semi-new thing (and I've always done menus for two weeks at a time before this.) Since I do my meat shopping (plus canned foods, rice, stuff like that) once a month at Costco and split stuff up into meal sized servings, I've always had a general idea of what a monthly menu is going to look like. But, I have been struggling with shopping and cooking for a smaller family since the kids moved out.
Last month I really paid attention to where and what my food budget was and then in general how much we were eating/using. Six months ago when the kids still lived at home, I'd cook a whole chicken and that'd be dinner for the family and leftovers for Darren and the kids for lunches. Last month, I realized I cooked a whole chicken one night and then had enough left overs for another meal the next. Or that I wasn't accounting for the 1-2 vegetarian nights a week. So, with that in mind, I came up with a menu for the month and then shopped for meat off that. I pretty much cut my Costco list (or at least the meat portion) in half. I don't mind having a little extra meat in the freezer or being stocked up on canned goods, but I really don't need that much, lol!
Today's plans are to finish up the monthly shopping at Walmart (we'll still need a few things like produce throughout the month but can do that local.) I've also got a load of laundry in. Need to pay a couple bills as well, other than that, not much to do.

Well maybe she wants a better dress, hahahaha.
I had a great lunch, finally got thru email and twitter, also did the dishes and wiped down all the counters.
I have been watching Olypmics while I work and now it is almost time for Big Brother. I swear I am never going to get the taxes started!
Oh and I got my Safeway settlement check, cracks me up, my portion of the settlement is $13, but I got $230 in interest. The lawsuit started in 2017 and is finally closing out the money.

Watching Olympics, Women's Biatathon or Mixed Relay - not really sure, could be a combination of both, they are on skis, have guns, LOL; while I wait for my coffee to brew.
I think today will be Olympics, Taxes, Big Brother and catching up on stuff.

Got the email cleared, still working my way thru twitter, listening to my podcast and watching Speed Skating on the Olympics.
Oh and I had to meet with the plumber to turn off the water at 10am, he was done at 11:30 so we got the water back on and hopefully everything will be fine for a while. Naturally it was a tiny pinpoint hole in a copper pipe and apparently it had been leaking for some time, but the homeowner only noticed it recently.
I got enough steps in that I might skip my bike, but we shall see.

I am determined to continue working on my taxes today! I already refreshed the birdbath and refilled a bunch of water bottles.
Clearing email and twitter, then the Sunday paper and coffee.
And some Olympics -- we have curling on USA.

Finished the paper, enjoying my coffee now, swept and dustbusted the bedroom then brought the dustbuster out and spot vac'd the office, hallways and kitchen.
Then I tried to fix my runny pudding. I thought I had instant pudding and apparently it was cook kind! So I tried cooking it some more last night and this morning that didn't seem to work, so I took out my vanilla pudding instant mix (the runny is chocolate) and mixed some into each bowl of pudding. That seems to have worked, I am so happy!
I also go the dishes done. Next up is taxes after I finish clearing email and twitter.

Got the taxes done, as far as I can. I still need one tax document and when I go the website to get it I have a problem, can't get past the first page. So I emailed my Finance guy, will have to make a call tomorrow, he is out for a family emergency.
Now I am watching Olympics on TV and Big Brother on the laptop.

It's a miracle!!! I finally figured out what I was hitting on my new laptop that was causing all the windows to close~! It was the touchpad mouse! I use a normal mouse because the touchpad makes my thumbs hurt and I already have arthritis in them so don't need to add to it.
Figured out how to disable it and I am so happy!!!

Got an email today that there is another website for my Retirement fund and that is why I haven't been able to access anything. So I will be going there to get my tax docs and then maybe I can finish my taxes.
Also woke up with total head congestion, if I had been around anyone or gone anywhere I would think I had Covid!, but it is just allergies I think, or sympathy for my sister.
Off to grab my coffee and hope it makes me feel better so I can get on with stuff.

Cleared the HOA email and my email, had some broccoli salad for lunch and I did have my coffee, still feel kind of yucky, but it is definitely my sinus/ allery, I can feel in in my cheekbones!
Having a terrible time getting into my retirement account, LOL, but supposedly everything has been fixed and my lock out will end and I can try again at 3pm. We shall see.
Back to clearing out twitter.

Paper done and now I have my coffee. Cleaned up the kitchen, packaged up my hamburger for the freezer, did the dishes, scrubbed the stove and wiped down the counters and island. It looks so much better! I fell like my whole house is clean again, LOL.
Now to twitter and email, then find a dentist and finish up the tax stuff, I hope.

Finally!! they got the IT guy on the phone with me and I now have access to my retirement accounts and have printed off my W2 so I can finish my taxes!!!
Also finally got thru all the twitter, still finishing up on my regular email.
But, now I am going to have some lunch.

Safeway order done, Pet Express order of kitty grass done ... going out to lunch today so getting ready for that.
Once I return I will check a couple of recipes I plan to make this week and see if I need to change my Safeway order.
I have put away the dishes and refreshed the birdbath. Need to do a little more on the balcony, find a dentist, do the taxes, and make a spreadsheet for my possible move.
Off to get my face on so I can leave the house for lunch, LOL.
