I get goosebumps. This morning a host on WGN-AM radio in Chicago is talking about his adoption -- how he found his birth parents. App. ten years ago he was telling the story as everything was unfolding. Today he talked about it in more detail. Coincidences involved . . . everything just fell into place.

My friend just called. She just got home from the hospital where her husband had surgery to remove a piece of wire from a wire grill brush. It had perforated his intestine. She wants everybody to be alerted to this danger since Father's Day is coming and many people will be grilling. A piece of wire gets into the meat and gets swallowed, or stuck in the mouth. Throw out the wire grill brush!

a wire grill brush is find if you are careful, much like a lot of things, I have cast iron grill, I need one. after I clean it with the brush (out of the grill to get of chunks of stuff), I wash it then oil it. so there should be no brush wire left on it.

LOL, and I just saw on Twitter, for some reason it is National Send a Nude Day. Who makes this stuff up? I get the Solitaire one, it was a Microsoft Solitaire Collection promotion, but send a nude, smh.

Cleaning out a house. I have found places to donate almost everything. However, I have no idea what to do with 17 rolls of plastic wrap. Some of it is even colored, pink purple yellow.

Christy how about the food bank, they could probably use it to wrap packages, or at least maybe they could get it to someone who would use it.

Just donate it to Goodwill or Salvation Army. They will bundle it and slap a price on it, and somebody will just happen by and buy it. I presume the deceased was a bigtime holiday cookie maker who wrapped her goodies in festive colored plastic wrap.

I asked the pharmacist, but guess I wasn't making myself clear? Is there a quantity discount on prescription drugs? I normally get 270 tab fill of pheno for my dog's seizures. This last time I thought price went down. When I got home noticed that it was only 180 tabs. Pharmacist checked with vet. Vet said 180 in error -- should have been 270. Quantity discount? If so, I'll take it up with the vet.

Not sure where to post this but does anyone here use Find A Grave? I have found the graves for many of my relatives there. It helps with my genealogy research also.

Colordeagua, when a prescription is filled the pharmacy usually adds a 'pharmacy fee' onto the price of the medication. This covers the cost of the dispensing container and the cost of time of the person filling the prescription. (Sort of like a handling fee) The fewer times you have to go back the better. The bigger the quantity the less times you have to go back.
