I wish I could figure out why the Astro's can't win again the Rangers. LOL after tonight's lost to the Rangers I have given up on the Astro's winning a wild card this year.

Yes they did and they won last night against Seattle. But we lost one of our really good rookie players for the rest of the season.

Tough to lose a good player in September.

Well so far we have won two games against the A's. We just need to keep on winning.

With the Nationals loss tonight, my Cubbies clinched home-field advantage throughout the National League playoffs! WOO HOO!

Even though Thursday was a off day for the Astro's they are officially out of the running for a wild card. Hopefully next year will be better. We have a good young team.

Rangers playoff game this afternoon...and it is still hot in Texas! Hope that other team (Canadian I believe) is soft from playing indoors...LOL! (But it is supposed to be in the 70s tomorrow afternoon when they play.)

It's the Toronto Blue Jays. The roof of the stadium was open in Toronto when they defeated Baltimore in the wild card game two nights ago so it's not that cold here yet. Uh ... but probably not nearly as hot as in Texas!

It has been in the 90s this week but it is supposed to only be in the 80s at gametime today. LOL...I remembered the name afterward. No disrespect to the Blue Jays.

My friends who are there say it is a bit warm but there's a strong breeze. And yes, I'm SOOOO jealous of them right now.

Well that's a matter of perspective. Seriously, I can't believe that happened.

I was actually tearing up while singing the Cubs song after their win tonight! As a life long Cubs fan, I've been in this position many times. More times than any fan for any other baseball team. So I am happy for tonight, but I'm not counting any chickens.

It's almost 1:30 AM here, 13th inning, the Cubs and Giants are tied 5-5. This game is torture!

5 hours and 4 minutes is just too long for a baseball game. Especially when your team loses....LOL Oh well, tomorrow is another day. At least my Cubbies are still winning the series 2-1.

I had written off last night's game when my Cubbies went into the 9th down 5-2. But they made a comeback and won the game to advance! WooHoo! We still don't know whom we are playing for the pennant. I'm just glad my team gets a chance to rest before for the game.

Congratulations on your team's fantastic comeback, Naja. That 9th inning was really fun to watch.
