I used to windsurf many years ago and saw a number of competitions in Hood River, Oregon. Let me tell you, it is a really difficult sport. The strength to handle the sails is amazing and they are travelling very fast. Those are true athletes. I don't think the TV can do it justice.

Oh, and Dipo, the bobbing up and down is usually done when the wind comes in gusts and they are trying to control the sails.

It really was amazing, they did really catch the speed at times, I was amazed at how fast they were going.

Would love to see Simone and Ali tonight but just can't stay awake. Seriously, CBS, you had to wait until 11 pm on the West Coast to show them?!
Otherwise it was a great evening watching the swimmers (Ryan Murphy, Simone Manuel and Michael Phelps) all get gold!
Lochte is one good looking man. Has he ever tried modeling?

Kappy, that is why I was so adamant about finding out how to watch online. The whole thing was shown online from noon til 3pm. I just hate not being able to watch it all and only see the small parts that network shows.
Oh and it was on her at 12:30am!!

Wow, the tennis Men's singles is going to be epic. Just heard Nadal and Murray have never met in a final. And both are in semi finals against others. Nadal will battle Dal Porto, and I think it was a Japanese player who will fight Murray.
Should be interesting to see who goes onto the final!

Katie Ledecky winning her 4th gold metal in the 800m freestyle ~ How great is she?!
Phelps in a 3-way tie for silver in the 100m butterfly losing out to the "KID" from Singapore (Joseph Schooling). Of all the swimmers who could have beat Phelps, that was fun to see!
And then yet another "old" guy from the US, Anthony Ervin, wins gold in the 50m freestyle!

They are planning to drain the outdoor pool tonight so it will be blue for TV tomorrow, but interestingly, the divers are saying they like it green, it makes it easier to spot the water.
