heh, heh, heh, they were just talking to a golf guy on NBCSN about the capybara's that are all over the gold course. He said that the capybara's pretater is the anaconda, and while he isn't concerned about a capybara, if he sees an anaconda he is out of there, hahahahaha.

The lady announcers really liked him as well.

I enjoyed the opening, it was nice to go back to a normal opening instead of a "can we top the last one" opening. I enjoyed hearing the history of Brazil, of which I had no clue.

Just tuned into a channel and some women were playing and I was what the heck is that....rugby, LOL.

And I am enjoying see familiar faces on bravo with the tennis.

And we already got a gold in women's air rifle, LOL, don't know much about that sport and didn't see the competitions.

But now they are showing the Peloton, cool to see the countryside, and they have had some interesting issues riding these bikes on the streets/cobblestones of Rio.

Last week I was reading that the special Olympic bike path collapsed, maybe the cobble streets are a fix. The country blamed an unusually large wave the undercut the path by the ocean. I would blame poor design or construction myself. YOu should build for waves, they did not say tidal wave,just large wave.

ahhhh, for some reason when they get on the cobblestones, their chains are coming off the bike, announcers are supposing it is being in the wrong gear for the vibration.

My girls (Kota and oldest niece and somewhat middle, she's not quite 13 and still between that ohhhh boys stage and the ewwww boys stage, lol) think the Tonga athlete is "hot, hot, hot" and are totally rooting for him. Out of curiousity I had to ask if 1, they knew where Tonga was (No) and 2, what sport he played (nope.) But, they think deserves a gold medal, lol.

The Tonga man is Pita Nikolas Taufatofua, who qualified for the Olympics through the Oceania taekwondo qualification tournament in April. The 32-year old had fallen short in his two previous attempts to make the Olympics.
