Tonight on HBO there is a two part series (both parts tonight) about David Chase, his life, and the creative process of writing "The Sopranos".

I never watched Sopranos back in the day. Is it worth it to watch it now?

I'm not sure if it would be very meaningful to anybody but Sopranos' avid fans. As one of those avid fans, it was awesome! :-)

Sorry, Naja, I meant to ask if The Sopranos is good enough to go back and watch the series now after all these years. What caused my interest was listening to a bit of the David Chase interview.

I know I suggested this show years ago when it first came out, but they finally added it to HBO/MAX so I thought I would suggest it again.

If you like adult cartoons, please try
The Life & Times of Tim

It's the kind of funny you will end up hurt from laughing too hard. I promise.

Jimmer, If you give "Tim" a try, let me know your reaction to the first episode.

The Pitt with Noah Wyle is excellent. It's a short series covering one shift in the ER of a Pittsburgh hospital. Episode one is 7:00 am and episode 2 is 8:00 am, etc. It's very intense but well done.

I just watched the movie Flow on HBOMax. It won the Oscar for best animated film. There are no people in it and all the animal sounds are actually recorded real animal sounds. It follows the adventures of a kitty left homeless by a tsunami. I was surprised by how really heartwarming, sad, scary, exciting and wonderful this film is! It was refreshing to see the different animals coming together to survive, so much kinder and intelligent than how many humans are behaving right now. I loved it.

I didn't know about the animal sounds, but it makes total sense. I enjoyed the film immensely too!

Brenda, one funny thing I read is that they didn't think the real capybara's voice fit the personality of the movie capybara so they ended up using a baby camel instead.

I'm watching this so slowly because of late night rehearsals, but I agree with everyone above - IT IS SO GOOD!

Pamy - that is EXACTLY what I said to my husband. Noah's character is definitely the "Mark" of the ER, and I love the depth they're able to give to each character despite such a large ensemble cast!

ITA. I just feel like he is Dr Carter all growed up and working in a different ER. Mark would be so proud :-) So would Lucy RIP
