I just saw the trailer and it looks so good!
It stars Niecy Nash as the detective,

Grotesquerie

A detective and a nun investigate a series of heinous crimes that seem personal, while grappling with personal issues and uncovering a sinister web that raises more questions than answers.

Travis Kelce introduces the official trailer.

It premieres Sept 25 on FX.

IMDB shows Travis Kelce in all 10 episodes. Is he the killer? He seems pretty sinister in the trailer.

I had no idea he was interested in acting. Weird.

Cool! A new Ryan Murphy creation! I thought it might be when I saw Kelce was in it...Murphy likes to include unexpected actors. Looks like fun.

Thanks for the heads up!

I'll probably save them up and binge it in a day or 2....I've been doing that with all Ryan Murphy productions for awhile now.

I just finished the first 2 eps and I am loving it! The murders are very gruesome. An article I read said it's like the movie "Seven" combined with the tv show "Evil". It kinda is.

I love that people aren't over using their cell phones like most other shows. At first I thought there weren't any!

IMDB shows Travis Kelce in 8 of the 10 eps, but I didn't see him yet. I did see him in the preview right after the show. Last week it said he was in 10 eps and they changed it.

The conversations with daughter are excruciating. Come to think of it, so are the flashbacks with the husband.

Love the Nun. She's her own brand of crazy. But that priest! He's a total nut job!

I watched it too, Naja. Pretty dark, but I taped it because of Niecy Nash. Not sure if I'll continue, but if you can handle the gore, it's intriguing.

At least they don't show the murders. Only how they look when the cops get there.

Honest to goodness, at first I was thinking the father's genitals, but they made sure to show the bulge of his package when they were scanning the crime scene.

Just popped in to say I'm not watching or reading this thread yet. I am waiting to binge the whole thing but it won't take long - 2 eps per week will air most weeks, but eps 7 and 10 will just be a single ep...and the finale is just one month away - on Oct 30. (IMDB.COM)
It should be a perfect Halloween binge!

The older woman with the baby was so creepy! And I was going to be really ticked if they killed off the Nun.

I am loving this show.

I’m enjoying it as well. Very creepy. Love the odd Nun and Priest characters.

(Travis Kelce is actually doing some solid acting. He doesn’t have a big role but his performance is good.)

I'd been switching between watching this show and another. And I kept feeling like I had seen the actor playing the priest before. I thought on it for quite awhile and then "Duh!" The other show I was watching was the new drama about the Menendez Brothers on Netflix, and the actor that plays the priest also plays Lyle Menendez! I literally watched the shows one after the other and didn't see it. LOL

How crazy was last night?!? I was almost tricked that it was the finale!

I'll talk in the spoiler box, because last night was too intense to spoil for anybody.

When I saw the "get well" balloons at the precinct, I could feel my brain start twisting around inside my head. LOL

And when I saw the Nun was really a cop and everyone else had different kinds of lives, and the husband was alive and well, I have to admit this is one twist I never saw coming. Kelce sure changed. LOL

But I wonder if it's really the twist? Maybe this new part is the coma imagined part and the other is real? I guess we'll know soon :-)

If the big plot twist they are touting for the finale is that Niecy is the killer, I'll be very disappointed. But I sure have enjoyed this show!

Wasn’t planning to watch but Thomas Ellenson is in it as a psychiatrist. I knew him when he was 4 years old!

At this point, I'm just hopelessly confused about what is and isn't real.

Why would that plot twist be disappointing to you, Naja?

Because I think that's too obvious. Even cliche.
