Ok I’ll give it another try but I got to episode 4 and haven’t watched anymore. I love all the actors but it’s sort of slow or something.

I don't know, this show started off more interesting before Neicy woke up from her coma and we found out it was all a dream. Now I can't keep track of who was who in her dream world and who they really are in her real world (if it is her real world?). I guess since there is only one episode left, I'll watch it, but I've kind of lost interest already except just to see what's real and what isn't.

Almost every Japanese scary movie is like this in the sense that they don't make sense. And it seems that they like it that way because they keep making them that way

I just finished it. My head is spinning around and and around...so I looked for help to "unpack" what I just watched and found this article (below). I think I just watched it like I watch a binge of a whole season of AHS...subconsciously assuming it was a one and done story. Now I gotta hope it gets a season 2. The article did stop my spinning head...it had some info that revealed the answer to how it actually made sense. ‘Grotesquerie’ Star Niecy Nash-Betts Unpacks Finale, Shares Hopes For Season 2 & Explains Why Lois Is “One And The Same” With VP Kamala Harris https://deadline.com/2024/10/grotesquerie-finale-recap-niecy-nash-betts-interview-season-2-hopes-1236162592/

Yeah, that article helped me lots too. I thought it was a one and done too... guess I'll have to hang in for another season, but by then I'll need a refresher!

These two sentences from Niecy Nash was the final piece of the puzzle for me. I put it in a spoiler box just in case there are still bingers here who haven't yet finished all 10 eps. Btw, I don't see it as an opinion: I see it as a fact...since it was Niecy Nash who said it.

Wow, that is not what I was thinking! For me I was thinking she was in a coma and that's why at the end she was like "What the hell, might as well go back to work since none of it's real anyway". I wasn't thrilled with the end, but I did enjoy the whole show.

I was kind of hung up on her remarks about it possibly being a copycat because I couldn't fit that into any context, but then I read her remarks (spoiler box) and that's when I remembered that it had already been pointed out that her records had been seen by likely hundreds of people. Anyone who read them would know her dreams and be able to use them against her. Now we ALL better be careful....if you have a nightmare and tell someone about it, they could use it as a model for a copycatty way to drive us insane. Bwahahahaha! She also told the group to meet her later because she knows who the killer is. That set it up for a continuation....one with with "hundreds" of suspects!

I searched for Grotesquerie season 2 and found an article you might like. Grotesquerie Ending Explained: How The Killer Sets Up Season 2 https://screenrant.com/grotesquerie-season-1-ending-explained/ Btw....Taylor Swift has exceptional taste.
