Loved the finale and the moment when Elsbeth was on the runway, her joy at seeing her friends in the audience.. And the music!

Cass Elliot singing

You gotta make your own kind of music
Sing your own special song
Make your own kind of music
Even if nobody else sings along
You gotta make your own kind of music
Sing your own special song
Make your own kind of music

And all the pink faux fur Elsbeth hats. It made me want one

Eggie, I think you will love it!!

I have it put on My List on ParamountPlus but have not had a moment to even look at it. Thanks, everybody for letting me know I should watch it.

Definitely, Juju..

Oh, I forgot the brief appearance of Tim Gunn in this episode.. He was also recently on Celebrity Wheel of Fortune.

Loved it!

The whole season was such an easy watch. It's rare to see a "whodunit" when the audience knows the perpetrator upfront. There is nothing to think to hard about...you just watch Elsbeth do her thing and it's so much fun seeing things through her eyes.

The season finale was so wonderful and uplifting. This is a much needed show. So joyful.

Exactly!! I said right away that I like knowing who is the perpetrator up front and I really love Elsbeth.. and have loved seeing her win over her co-workers and such..

I also love that she is secretly smart and savvy. People so often misjudge her on their own biased first impressions. She is seen as ditzy and incompetent until they get to know her.

Loved that everyone is now wearing her hat!!!

Will probably start this soon. I think I am close to having watched the finales of all of this season's popular shows. Might not have finished SWAT or Blue Bloods just yet.

Ok because you all are enjoying it so much, I am going to give it another try. Watched the first episode when it first came out and thought it was a bit silly and did not hold my interest. Let me try it again......so many cannot be wrong......but then I never was able to get into Fleabag either.

It is pretty silly, Boberg, and not really believable. That said, much like So Help Me Todd, it's just a funny, feel-good kind of show.

Boberg, I couldn't get into Fleabag either. I thoroughly enjoy Elsbeth. Once you get to see the less silly side of her, I think you will like it.

Hmm, well I hated So Help Me Todd right away and I had had high hopes for that but I liked Elsbeth from the start though I would say the shows improved as you got to know her better and that what sometimes seemed silly was just a smoke screen. Never saw Fleabag.

I've enjoyed Carrie Preston's "Elsbeth" character since she appeared in The Good Wife and again in follow up series, The Good Fight. And Carrie Preston directed the 2012 movie, "That's What She Said" that totally cracked me up. She's one talented woman!

Thanks, SanFran. I had never heard of the woman, did not know the name of the actress, but I don't actually watch a lot of television.

I watched the Good Wife until they started trashing a character I really liked.. can't remember her name, and other things that just weren't pleasant, so I stopped watching, not sure if the Elsbeth character was present then. and never watched a spin off, so Elsbeth, the new show and Elsbeth the character were new to me and I really enjoy both.

My DVR is overcroweded.. I'm a hoarder so i have a Linda Ronstadt documentary, the final shows of A Million Little Things, Station 19, This is Us, a couple of seasons of All Creatures Great and Small and a huge number of Call the Midwife episodes so I have to be careful to view shows and clear them off in the remaining space. Also have a small stock of MASH episodes, which i can watch in background mode since I know them so well. But I had to delete Ghosts and Elsbeth episodes.

JujU, I do hope you end up enjoying Elsbeth.

JuJu, if you watched "True Blood" you should know that Carrie Preston played a quirky waitress named Arleen....and she was in Claws as both a pathological liar and a con artist with different identities.

Seamonkey, Elsbeth was just a recurring character...she was in 14 eps of The Good Wife and 5 eps in The Good Fight. However, she was a main cast member in Claws for 40 episodes.

I have never heard of True Blood or Claws. I don't have Netflix, if those are Netflix shows.

Hi Mame! Yes, it was. They set it up perfectly for next season. I knew the Captain could not be that mad at her. 😊

Ooh, the whole season is available on demand on spectrum until September.. I think I will do a re-watch binge. Favorite single scene, Elsbeth's dance with the father who murdered his daughter's new husband..

Glad you liked it Rieann.
