Ok I haven’t had time to post but we have a date for the return of season two! It was announced July 1st that Resident Alien will be back August 10th https://www.instagram.com/p/CfewkJkPTIe/?igshid=YmMyMTA2M2Y=
Friday really was Resident Alien day for me too because I accidentally stumbled on a comic store in the middle of nowhere and it was the first shop to actually have Resident Alien! (Tried to upload a photo but the site wasn’t letting me if anyone wants to see I can drop a link to it on one of my posts) Anyways excited for the show to come back, I’m counting down the days.

Resident Alien is based off of comic books! I got the full first volume. Only problem is it can be a little hard to track down in a store I had been looking for a while and ordering online is super expensive (around $50)

Based on the comic book’s premise (alien in a small town) but the show plot is quite different.

The comic seems to be a little darker than the TV show but it’s cool to see where the idea came from. Still good though and interesting to see where the inspiration for the show was from.

I've read the first comicbook now. It's very different, the alien is kind of just a normal guy - except, obviously, he's an alien - and he seems to like human company, can act normally (not the weirdness of Alan Tudyk), was happy to be the doctor and help the police investigate things.
I'm not a very visual person and haven't read many comicbooks, so perhaps I'm not the best judge, but so far it's a bit... dull. Especially compared to the tv show!

Yea I’ve read some of the comic too and it’s very different than the TV show. I feel like the show gives Harry more colour as a character. It’s also interesting how different the visuals are, what I mean is Harry looks like quite a different alien than on the show.

The engagement between the young girl and the alien was hilarious! How she turned the table on him. He is emotionally like a child!
The end where they took the WHOLE camper!!
