Loved the ending of this week's The Old Man. The two of them together is going to be dynamite.

All this time I figured Jeff Bridges was "the old man"! haha

It's that Bote is practically everyone's old man.

I was just telling my husband this and he said that is what he figured out when they were talking about the old man. It flew right over me.

Is any one else watching how to be likeable in a crisis?
It is oddly amusing

I don't know if anybody else here has followed the "Flowers in the Attic" series of movies?

Now there is a limited series on Lifetime called "Flowers in the Attic: The Origin", and it's the life of the cruel grandmother and how she got that way. I am halfway through ep 2 and it is SO good! Much better than any of the movies.

New eps are on Saturday night, and the first 2 eps are in on-demand and online.

Naja is it necessary to have watched the movies in order to follow the series?

Sincebb1, It's a prequel so it doesn't need the movies, but you lose the meaning and importance of the events in the series unless you see at least the first movie "Flowers in the Attic".

The original 1987 version is free on Tubi
https://tubitv.com/movies/475052

The 2014 remake is free on Jex
https://jexmovie.com/watch_Flowers_in_the_Attic_2014.html

Either will get you to where you need to be for the series, but since the 2014 version was also made by Lifetime, it may fit better.

Naja Thanks! And you even did the research where to go watch it! LOL I have Tubi, but I'm not familiar with Jex. I will check it out.

No spoilers but in The Old Man, I knew it! I have been saying it all along. Now we wait for next season.

It's such a great series! So happy it got renewed. As far as the twist...it was the only thing that made sense...because the whole time you are asking yourself...WHYYYYY???

I was a little underwhelmed by the "big twist". I love the show, but the twist was too easy.... for them to write as well as for us to guess.

Well you don't know if that's really the whole twist or there's something else entirely different to come LOL I mean theoretically this girl has three fathers...so far ...

Ep 3 of "Flowers in the Attic: The Origin" is on tonight. I haven't been this excited about seeing a show in a long time!

So I made it through the entire series of The Old Man, but it was a struggle. It is soooooo slow and talky. I'll give S2 a shot but I don't know if I have it in me to make it through the entire season.

I only found the finale to drag in parts. It’s funny how shows hit us so differently. I was all in on the first episode. The suspenseful parts are really suspenseful!

Can I say again...how upset I am the CW is cancelling In The Dark! I'm watching this last season and really hoping that some network picks the show up! Talk about continual twists and turns.
