Just lost ABC on my Xfinity. Is that just local to me? Anyone else? They said contract expired.

Might just be local. I’m on ABC right now and I have Xfinity.

That’s not right, I have YouTubeTV. Xfinity is just my Internet. Sorry, didn’t know how to delete prior post.

Yes, for Colorado we lose ABC. For other states they are losing other channels. SO frustrating. They need to get this figured out. I need to call them anyways as my last "deal" just expired. I'm sure they are getting a lot of angry calls.

Looks like a lot of affiliates are being affected. (not my area) If I understood correctly (I may not have), one report said it's because Scripps(?) wants to raise the price because of the "free" sports we see on ABC and ESPN. Xfinity doesn't want to pay it.

Kar, I have a little digital TV in my computer room that I half-pay-attention to, so it has no Xfinity box to pay for. I connected rabbit ears to the TV and I watch ABC talk shows while at my computer...it also gets Fox,CBS,NBC, all the basic network OTA shows. The only drawback are commercials. I can't skip them or FF like I can on my TIVO in the living room. A lot of the other channels have stuff like Soup marathons, other sitcoms, marathon L&O shows and game shows, etc. All for free. If you can connect rabbit ears to your digital TV, you can still watch ABC.

Sometimes it’s nice just having antenna tv.

Unfortunately, where I live in the foothills of Colorado, antennas don't work. If it goes on for long, I may sign up for a free trial of something to get me thru until they figure it out.

Kar, I’m just lucky to live in an area of Portland that has numerous antenna tv channels. Otherwise, I’d be on cable too.

After I turned on my living room TV yesterday I saw that ABC was on as usual.

yeah, as long as you aren't getting them thru Xfinity, you'll be fine. But rabbit ears don't work here. I'll give it a week and see if they settle.

My living room room TV is hooked up to xfinity, so I guess for some reason SF isn't part of the issue. I googled this phrase: subscribe to ABC network online It came up with a lot of links but I didn't go through them for details. Maybe there's something that can help you out.

It depends on where you live and if Scripps owns any channels in your area. In Denver it's ABC. But places like Kansas City it's NBC. Nashville it's CBS. They really need to figure this out. I just talked to comcast to see how much my internet would be if I dropped cable. I have been a comcast customer for 35 years. That may end!
