Just watched the first 2 episodes of Murderbot, new series; futuristic about robots they use to keep safety and order. The writing is witty. I enjoyed watching adn look forward to the next episode released on May 23. By the way, there is a promo in Canada right now for $3.99/month for up to 3 months. This is how I was trying all this out.

Murderbot is really fun! I wish they dropped more episodes altogether. Oh well, got to wait a whole week, I guess.

I just started "Stick" and I'm loving it. I was hoping I would because I'm using my free trial through Prime Video to watch it. I should have waited because I didn't realize there would be 10 eps, and not released all at once. I'll probably sign up when it's time. Anyway, it's a dramedy about a washed up pro golfer (Owen Wilson) who puts all his money and time into trying to make a champion out of a teenage golf prodigy. Marc Maron plays Owen's besty, and Judy Greer plays Owen's ex-wife.

I am late to the party as usual but recently got Apple+ and am watching "Ted Lasso" LOVE IT!. It is so heartwarming and Ted Lasso is a very unique kind of person who is surrounded by other interesting individuals. As the series progresses, each character gets more in depth and interesting. Synopsis: An American football coach goes to UK to coach an football (here we call it soccer) team. Team owned by newly divorced woman who really wants the franchise destroyed to get back at her ex. But this series really isn't about football as much as it is about the characters, their interactions, struggles, learning experiences, caring for one another, and growth. I highly recommend if you have not watched it and enjoy a series that has strong growing characters and makes you laugh and cry. It took me about 3-4 episodes before I fell in love with this show. Have to get to know all the characters a bit to really enjoy the humor.

Hi All, Just started watching the series "Sunny". It takes place in Japan so has English speaking but sometimes Japanese so sugtitles. Starts off with you meeting the main character who has just lost her husband and son in a plane crash. I think it is supposed to be in the future as everyone has a house robot. I am enjoying it, kinda mysterious. Don't want to say too much to give it away. https://tv.apple.com/ca/show/sunny/umc.cmc.7c5t9dde8dxoaxwyl5rkuw38p

As I mentioned, I’ve read a couple of books from that series and I really enjoyed them. I watched the first episode and it seems that they’re doing a good job capturing the feel of the books so I’m looking forward to seeing the rest of the series. I’m just waiting so I can watch it with my wife and daughter.
