Kitt - yes! I set up a season pass on Tivo to record Cobra and missed the first episode. I was able to get the PBS app on my smart TV and watch it (and the second ep) but I have to pay extra at PBS to see Ep 3. It recorded ep 2 OK, so now my fingers are crossed it will record tomorrow without any problem.

We finished Flesh and Blood last night (had to sign up for PBS Passport at $5 a month to see all the episodes--hubby doesn't like to wait a week for the next ep, cause we forget everything!). Very good, and they kind of left the door open for a possible additional season. Imelda Staunton was excellent. She really kept you guessing whether she was good or evil.

Good to know it's not just me, Teach! Each time I watch an episode I make sure all episodes on the two week schedule are set to record, or it just doesn't seem to get them. I've enjoyed Eps 1 and 2 of Flesh and Blood. Hubby likes Cobra but I'm not so keen on that.

I just finished the first three episodes of Flesh and Blood. I want the fourth and final episode now! I need to see what happens. Lol It doesn't look like I can use PBS Passport on my laptop or Kindle. Grrr

Geoffrey Palmer who played Lionel on the much loved British series, As Time Goes By has died at age 93. This show is often on PBS and Mr. Palmer and Judi Dench are delightful.

I watched Murdoch for 10 seasons. Lol. At some point I will get back and catch up. I just found out it was called “The Artful detective” in the USA up until last year? I wonder why. If you ever get the chance..... Before it was a tv series, the books (excellent books by Maureen Jennings) had been made into three made for TV movies. They starred Peter Outerbridge playing Murdoch and Colm Meaney as Brackenreid. The movies were much edgier/darker then the tv interpretation .

I never saw Murdock when it was called the artful detective. I have been watching for years. Same people? I’ll have to look for the movies.

I’ve never seen it under that name either Vickie, just saw it on Wikipedia. Something else I just saw was that Maureen Jennings latest book is about Murdoch’s son, also a detective. I also didn’t realize she was involved in Bomb Girls, I love that show!! Maureen Jennings... Heat Wave

I'm just about through all the seasons of Murdoch. Love Crabtree. I am now watching WIRE IN THE BLOOD. The star of the show is a criminal profiler. Love that sort of thing. Warning! It is very gritty and 20 years old but every episode is a gem.

Not sure if I've mentioned it before, but I love Father Brown; Hetty Wainwright Investigates; Death in Paradise; As time Goes By; Two's Company. So happy to be watching Hetty Wainwright from the beginning now, as I discovered it midseries. Haven't seen Two's Company in decades. I'd love to see it again.

Mame!! TV twins!! Lol although the election has used up most of my screen time lately. If you enjoy all those then try two more.... Rosemary & Thyme and Shakespeare & Hathaway.

Hi OG! Hey Rissa dahlink, I've seen tons of commercials for Rodemary and Thyme. On your recommendation I will give it a go. Not sure if I've heard of Shakespeare and Hathaway, anyhow I'll look for it. Cosy mysteries like Hetty and Father Brown are such an enormous comfort especially on very stressful days. And I've had a lot of those lately! So they've been a blessing. I tend to start my day by watching Father Brown over breakfast. (I tape all my shows.)

We've been watching an Australian show, Janet King. It stars Marta Dusseldorp from A Place to Call Home. She plays an attorney in this one. DH loves the courtroom stuff.
