Naja.....they don't need to 'save' some of Trump's best stuff, he's a gift that just keeps on giving when it comes to comedic (sometimes tragic!) material. lol Along with his cabinet, I think they could make the whole show about them! lol

I just read that Christine Baranski has offered to play Betsy DeVos on SNL. Please let this happen.

I am praying and praying that tomorrow night's show has Rosie O'Donnell playing Steve Bannon. (POTUS was supposedly really enraged last week that a woman was playing Sean Spicer, said it made his staff look weak.) And Christine Baranski playing Betsy DeVos would be super as well. If the Trump Show continues much longer, I could even see a SNL spin-off.

Rosie's publicists says Rosie won't be playing Bannon http://abcnews.go.com/Politics/rosie-odonnell-twitter-avatar-steve-bannon-makeover/story?id=45389832

That's too bad, but in fairness, the show's goal is humorous entertainment, not just using people who irritate Trump (of which the list is almost endless anyway).

Not to mention that the regulars of the show might want to have a crack at playing these CHARACTERS first. As Miz said above ~ They "are the gift that just keeps on giving" much as Sarah Palin was back in the day.

Something interesting is starting April 15th. SNL will be airing live, coast to coast, from April 15 until the end of the season. That means that instead of the west coast watching a taping of the live show later that night, they will be seeing it live at 8:30 PM, along with the rest of country. (it airs at 11:30 ET, and 10:30 central). I hope I typed that out clear enough to understand....LOL

Michael Che is about as funny as a toothache. He constantly blows his lines and stumbles over pronouncing words too. He and Colin Jost have NO chemistry whatsoever on 'Weekend Update'; they just seem so awkward together. Why Lorne Michaels got rid of Taran Killam is beyond puzzling to me. Taran was the one talent who stood out in the show for about the last decade. And Jay Pharoah was much funnier than Che (not hard to do, mind you) yet he got the boot and Che brought in? Go figure. SNL is loong past its glory days. The current cast is pretty pathetic, to be honest. They need to put it to bed.

ummm no. They're getting pretty high ratings these days, why would they put it to bed?? That doesn't even make sense. I know I look forward to it every week and Im disappointed when its a repeat, like last night. I LOVE the current cast especially Kate McKinnon... serious talent there.

I'm with you, Cinnamon. I still love SNL. Kate McKinnon is fabulous as are several others. The females are stronger than most of the male cast. Except for Moynihan and Keenan.

I agree, Smokey. SNL is really good this season. I'm loving it. I think this is the first time in quite awhile a cast member won an Emmy.

Season 43 season of Saturday Night Live will premiere on September 30, 2017 with host Ryan Gosling and musical guest Jay-Z. When I first read that, I thought it seemed so far away, but then I looked at the calendar and it's only 20 days away!

Sam Rockwell let the F bomb slip in the science sketch tonight. The look on all their faces was priceless....LOL Do they bleep it out for the west coast? It's the very first sketch when they come back from commercial after the monologue.

I didn’t see it last night, but we on the west coast have been seeing it at 9pm a number of times... live.

Naja, I had to rewind that f-bomb bit a couple of times because I didn't trust my old ears...lol I thought SNL was on a something-second delay.

It was bleeped here in Mountain Time Zone/Colorado. Between their reactions and the delay, we knew someone said something...

Tonight's skit, sitting around the table playing a board game and the Hispanic girl, keeps getting game pieces that make it harder and harder for her to get across the boarder, (Shrugg).

We had a blackout start around 10pm last night. So I didn't get to watch SNL.
