Acting is a tough occupation. I always like to see people I’ve enjoyed in the past, in other roles.

Looks like we can kiss "Transparent" goodbye. Jeffrey Tambor has left the show.

Spacey now Tambor messing with with my binge watching on "quality" tv shows. I am certain Spacey was guilty but was shocked by Tambor's resignation;he must have seen the handwriting on the wall. Both were so memorable in their respective roles. The only positive out of these accusations is to hope that this disgraceful demeaning treatment ends be you male or female.

I have to say the Hallmark Movies this season have been better, not all the same formula.

Dipo, I just watched "Christmas Land" from 2015 and it was so cute. I missed it when it first came out. It's about a girl who inherits her grandmother's Christmas tree farm and Christmas village.

I just finished binge watching season 5 of Orphan Black. I am in awe of Tatiana Maslany. Her portrayal of the various clones was Master Class acting. Wow, she was incredible, absolutely incredible.

Naja, that is a cute one. I have liked quite a few and the Christmas Train was interesting....I kept thinking of Murder on the Orient Express and waiting for someone to be killed. Of course that wasn't going to happen but it sure did remind me of that movie.

Very true Mamie316. Right now, I am putting her on my list of supercalifraglistiically talented actors with Cate Blanchett and Meryl Streep.

Did anybody watch Penn and Teller's "Fool Us" last night? At the end when they had the 2 women preform instead of doing a trick themselves, during the whole thing I was thinking "Geez, these women have the worst boob jobs I have even seen". And then the reveal happened and I realized why it seemed that way. LOL! Catch it in on-demand to see what I am talking about if you missed it. I don't want to say the reveal and ruin it

Where are all the classic Christmas movies? Allistar Sims Christmas Carol, Wonderful Life, Miracle on 34th St., Holiday Inn, White Christmas, etc.,? all I see on TV is Elf, Christmas Story, Christmas with the Kranks, etc., These are fine, but I miss the classics.

I saw It's a Wonderful Life last weekend, but have been wondering about the others too. Haven't seen any of the old classics. Notice the same thing with Christmas songs on the radio this season. The "old" classics now seem to be songs by Mariah Carey, Michael Buble, Celine Dion, etc.. Rarely hear what I consider to be the true classics by Bing Crosby, Elvis, Andy Williams, Johnny Mathis, Dean Martin, Perry Como, Nat King Cole, etc.

If you have TCM, Alistair Sim's "A Christmas Carol" is in their on-demand. My favorite Christmas Carol with Reginald Owen is airing on TCM on Saturday and Monday.
