I agree that Jimmy Kimmel did a good job as host. I liked the OJ series. I thought it was amazingly good. Although I liked the movie very much, I've never watched Fargo. I guess I better start. So Game of Thrones now has the record for most Emmy wins at 38! (Frasier is now second with 37 - another favorite of mine.)

Glad RuPaul won too. Never heard of The Night Manager but it was nominated for many categories. I hope they re play it.

Kiefer Sutherland should be doubly ashamed of himself. First, he totally botches Tatiana Maslany's name in announcing her as the Best Actress winner. And, worse, they're both Canadian! Come on, Kiefer, make an effort to pronounce your fellow countrywoman's name correctly - sheesh!

The only show I watch is Modern Family so I'm right there with you Heckagirl...I watched the red carpet on E and then my interest quickly waned.

It is remarkable and an interesting trend how poorly regular network (the big four) shows do on the Emmy Awards these days. They are still the most watched TV but they hardly ever win anymore. In fact, they don't even get nominated. I guess the quality is now superior on the other channels but why would that be? The big four used to have some pretty amazing high quality shows for their day (e.g. All in the Family, Frasier, Seinfeld, ER, Hill Street Blues, St. Elsewhere, etc.).

On tonight! I thought that I'd bump this up since it has rolled around to that time again this year. So the two shows with the most nominations (22) are Saturday Night Live and Westworld. Last year's Emmy champion, Game of Thrones wasn't aired in time to qualify for this year's Emmy Awards.

As much as I love SNL, I hope “Drunk History” wins for Variety Sketch Series.

I don't know if we had The Handmaiden's Tale in Canada. I can't believe that I haven't read the book (yet).

It really is amazing how short Reese is, even in heels, when she walks out with all the tall girls, LOL.

Donald Glover has really become an amazing talent. I used to love him on the Joel MCray comedy..the show name eludes me right now.
