If you have Showtime there is the Rock n Roll Hall of Fame inductions.. where the inductees get to perform.

Oddly, they also inducted Joan Baez. She was funny. said she realized there were young people present who wouldn't know who she was without the presentation of her career that had just played, but then she said her granddaughter didn't know who she was until Joan took her to see Taylor Swift and she got to go back stage ;) And she remarked that it WAS a bit odd since she isn't a rock n roll musician..

But she also pointed out that the need for protest music is indeed back today.

Still watching ..

I watched it because one of my all time favs were inducted this year, Journey. I was happy Steve Perry showed up and was honored, but I was disappointed he didn't get to do the singing with the band. The guy that was singing is Arnel Pineda and they hired him about 10 years ago. They found him on youtube. He sounds great, but I was hoping to hear Steve for at least one song.

Sunnydale, thanks for the info on Britbox. I have Acorn. Sounds like I should stick with it for now.

Naja, I wish Steve would have sang too.

I thought Joan looked amazing.

I love my Eddie Vedder.

I loved Lenny's tribute to Prince.

And Rick Wakeman from Yes was a hoot!

Watched the first episode of Genius on Nat. Geo. about Einstein. Slow start, but gets more interesting as it goes along. Amazing twist at the end that I did not see coming.

I've been hearing for awhile now that there is going to be a spinoff of "blackish". After the show this week, I'm thinking it will be about Zoe going to college, like Denise from Cosby show. A Different World.

Don't see anything on the new schedules. Maybe mid-season. Same with Roseanne, which I saw advertised as coming back yesterday. I'm really surprised.

Rarely do I watch CBS/ABC or NBC and I can't remember which station it was but did anyone watch Downward Dog? For me it was a little gem. I love Martin. It made me laugh and cry a little.

I thought it was super cute. I also love the actress that stars in it.

The two friends I have had that were big Barry Manilow fans have long left the board, but I'll mention this anyway.

If you are a Barry Manilow fan, be sure to watch tonight's Jimmy Fallon "Tonight Show". It already aired, but if you have on-demand with your TV provider, it will be there.

This was the first interview in YEARS that we got to see the happy silly Barry singing his old jingles and biggest hits with Jimmy. It was so much fun. (especially if you are a Barry Fan)

I have no idea where to put this since we don't seem to have a thread for it, but Leah Remini's Scientology documentary is returning next week.

It's certainly an interesting show, Lexie. Perhaps you could start a thread for it?

Okay, I will start a thread. It certainly is worthy of its own thread with as much discussion we had about this show.

Anybody else see the movie about Michael Jackson? It was called Searching for Neverland, I think. I thought it was okay. Saw the guy who played Michael on the Wendy Williams show earlier this week talking about it. Otherwise, I wouldn't have known it was on.

LOL! I got his autograph in 1987 at his book signing at a downtown Kroch's and Brentano's.
