I have been watching Cardinal--mostly because my son-in-law had a small part in it as the music store owner--and was surprised by how much I liked it!

They are on two Canadian channels CTV AND CBC. I wasn't sure how Canadian they were distribution wise

I just finished binging the old series "Twin Peaks" to be ready for the reboot in May. I had not seen it before.
It has to be one of the strangest and most convoluted shows I have ever seen. I'm not even sure if I liked it....LOL
Now I'm off to watch the movie they made the next year after the series. They must not have had any notice about the cancellation, because the last episode was a crazy cliffhanger. I hope the movie was meant to wrap it up.

Has anyone been watching Emerald City? We recorded it and just watched the pilot. Not sure what I think, I guess I wasn't captivated as I was paying more attention to my tablet. Is it worth more time?

Sugar I personally am enjoying the show "Emerald City". I have been reading on my Kindle the Wizard of Oz collection and so it is a fun time for me. I like the twist they have given to the tv version compared to the books. Plus it is totally different then the movie. Some shows need a little mix up and they have done pretty good.

I don't see a thread for the mini series, "When We Rise". I'm so glad I decided to watch it. I now want to read Cleve Jones's book. I'm so impressed with how brave people were in the early days of gay rights. It's amazing that we've not progressed further. I'd forgotten how very awful the AIDS epidemic was at the beginning. The entire series breaks my heart but I'm grateful to learn more and gain more understanding. I'm so impressed by Cleve Jones.
