anyone watch the kennedy center honors last night? - i cant remember the last time we had such a great group and i NEVER remember the honorees expressing such joy and excitement when seeing people coming on stage to honor them - made me tear up seeing them get so excited

I saw it and loved it too! I was in tears right along with Cicely Tyson when her students came on. And Aretha brought down the house! Best group of inductees I've seen in forever!

Anyone watching Johnny Carson? Johnny Carson is on every night airing out of Chicago. It's on cable and digital WGN TV station in the Chicago area (Antenna TV / 9.2). Johnny looks as he always has -- hasn't aged.  But that stars are so much younger. Tonight's show was with Michael J. Fox from 11/03/88. He'd been married just recently.

I don't know what channel it is over the air here in the KC area, but on comcast cable it's 251.

It airs OTA only in the Chicago area. Because I've never had cable, don't know what cable station it's on. Programs started airing recently -- January 1.

Does anybody else think the new name ABC Family chose is a little odd? ABC Family channel will now be known as "Freeform".
It sounds like a ladies' underwear brand.

Naja, I thought it was weird. I was going to come to TVCH and ask how channels decide to change their names. I remember when CourtTV changed to TruTV which didn't make sense to me at the time, but then they changed their shows, hardly ever on a court case so.
But I thought Family channel was very descriptive and always knew what kind of programing I was going to get there.
The new name, Freeform, I don't have a clue what kind of programing they will have, it is really weird.
