It's way past any story from the book. I happen to think they are winging it as they go along.

Actually, you may find it hysterical, but having had TWO people pushing down on my stomach to help deliver my baby, I found it invoking difficult memories! It definitely speeds delivery!

I was referring to a fictional show on tv where a woman went through gestation in one week with an alien baby and then another character rather violently shoved her elbow into her stomach to force her to give birth in 20 seconds.

I am aware of that. :-)

I'm just saying that pushing down on a woman's stomach to speed labor actually happens. Something I was completely unaware of until it happened to me!

My point being is *that* part of was quite believable to me. :-)

I give up. I have seen every episode and have no idea what's going on. And I don't really like anyone anymore, so. . .

I have to laugh that Jim is my favorite character on the show after being the villain for so long.

So the show is ending on Sept. 10. Let's hope they wrap it up nicely.

I thought we would get closure; that's what was promised...

DH and I decided to skip season 3, but for the heck of it I recorded the finale to see where this all led. After watching the finale, Oh jeez, am I glad I skipped season 3.

I skipped 90% of this season and only tuned in to see what kind of closure they would give the fans. I literally had to force myself to not turn the channel. It was that bad.

It wasn't too hard to see how they were going to leave it open since the 'daughter' showed she could jump and climb walls when she first came out of the cocoon.

Sometimes I think they just don't care about the quality as long as the audience tunes in.

It was just a crazy season. It's like they didn't really care about before, ignored it and just rewrote everything with something new. But at least the finale did close everything out, and now I can happily delete my season pass.

But did it? I thought it left a huge wide door open for it to continue if they choose.

It did leave it open! How could this be decided a closed story line. When the "bad" people are left alive it still is an open story. Nothing was finalized. Stupid story!

I was thinking they are all in pods again it was showing the story like when they thought they were living a real life. I thought oh no now Barbie is gong to do the same story only with Julia instead of Ava.

Well yes they started a new story in the last few minutes - which will never happen - but they wrapped up most of the stuff we've been watching the last weeks.

Or maybe I didn't pay enough attention and it finally paid off for me ;).

Kitt, I agree. It's not unlike many movies you see, where you think everything is wrapped up and then in the last minute, they leave you hanging.

It was wrapped up enough for me... except for poor Joe!

And gave a nod to the book, too, with the little kids being there at the end.

I thought there was enough closure. They did leave it open in the chance that another network wants to pick it up but even if they don't, we can use our imaginations with that ending.
