Lakecat, I was shocked by the Where Are They Now episode for last season, mainly because of the turn around in Aziza, the Russian girl with baby fever. Her hubby, Mike is no huge prize but seems to adore her & give her everything she wants. She didn't seem to strike me as one who could fake it for the cameras & seemed very comfortable with him. They both appeared very happy. The one thing that did shock me was that their work schedules conflicted so much that they would only see each other on weekends & I felt that was probably deliberate on her part. Surely she could have found a day job.
Paola's man must be pissed, he gave up his job to be with her & now she's wanting to leave for months at a time. Her life with him is probably fairly boring compared to her Columbian party life. She should have let Russ keep his job & take off when he was gone for months at a time.
Did it come out in the show or did I read it somewhere that basically confirmed that they met when Kirlyam was 11 & Alan was a 19yo missionary in Brazil. That's a bit creepy but at least she wasn't 18 when they married.
I was a little surprised that the one couple opted out of the follow up. I would almost think that would be part of their contract. In any case, the money wasn't worth the invasion of their privacy apparently, which is probably a good sign.
I was impressed with Mohammed's talk with Danielle's son but her insecurity with the relationship is very telling.

Eew did not know that about Alan. I find him off putting but I do most of the men. I did notice a good, easy rapport with Aziza and Mike. She was stand offish on her season but seems more at ease now.

Yes, I am. My takes:
Mohammed situation - ridiculous.
Brazil girl/Internet guy - very questionable.
Yamir & Chelaea - really in love, should work.
Brett and Daya - rough start, but maaay work.
Evelin and Justin - He doesn't send out a good
vibe, but may loosen up.
Amy (South African) - He seems so timid or afraid
to speak up about anything.
His father was disgraceful
toward Amy. He ignorantly
claimed mixed couples aren't
accepted here. That's so untrue.
He made very hurtful remarks and
his son said nothing. He seemed
to come around a little at the
rehearsal dinner, but who knows?
I think the couple are truly in
love and hope it works.

Is she insecure? I get the feeling that she knows exactly what she is doing. I suspect that she sees him as a meal ticket for a couple of years until he gets the greencard. If these two are not engaging in marriage fraud, I would be very surprised.

The family from South Africa are very endearing. The couple is young, and I hope it really works out for them. He's young enough to decide to move to South Africa if it's too hard to work things out here.
That 41-year-old loser (errrr, woman) is doing an injustice to her children. She is lazy and selfish. No chance it will work.
I'm an idiot for watching, but it's like a train wreck. LOL!!!

I really do like Amy from South Africa and her family.. his.. have a lot to learn.. like DAD.. hopefully you can learn about acceptance and brothers or whoever, why do you want to embarrass them for a decision they made?
She was really a gorgeous bride.
Yamir, I like.. Chelsea sort of like but she is whiney and I hope she will support him in learning English but also in following his music dreams.. after all we have plenty of people here who would enjoy music is Spanish and her small town probably isn't the place to be.
I feel so for Daya.. what a poison mother in law she has to deal with..
When Internet guy and all the guys left his fiancé from Brazil sitting there along.. WTH? They couldn't find a single woman to befriend her and stay with her.. or, for heaven's sake, just respect her wishes and not try to trash the groom? And shame on him. Not a good start.

I LOLed when Mo said he could not kiss is bride because of Ramadan. Priceless.
Chelsea needs to grow up. Yamir needs to realize he is not Justin Timberlake. He needs to learn English, work and go to to school. He can ing in th shower or wherever. That being said, he strikes me as a nice guy.
Cassia needs to scour the Internet for a better dude. She picked a lemon and should cut her losses here. If she redid her hair and changed her makeup, she could do a lot better than this junk dealer.

I only watch bits and pieces of this show but I really don't even see how Mohammed was allowed into the States. It's clear he is there for a Green Card and not that woman. She is an idiot? What was going through her head? Is this for real? Where I come from even if the person leaves you, you are financially responsible for the person for I don't know how many years.
The guy that left his fiancé in the casino or Vegas, or wherever they were is rather immature. Why on earth would that girl be interested in him? From what I have seen he is very childish.

So many red flags.. She couldn't qualify to sponsor anyone, but apparently she went to his country to meet him?
The difference in age, religion..
Her lack of money, or ability to budget.
The attorney telling him he would be responsible for her, but no mention that he won't have a green card right away, and as I understand it, it takes time, red tape and money.
So many issues. Uncomfortable to watch them.

So last night all the weddings. Chelsea's was simple, but there was home made dress drama, when mom didn't finish in time. Odd that mother and daughter were so casual in planning and Chelsea the lowest maintenance in terms of dress, but still, leaning on parents.
Yamir's family attended.
Mohamed took off when the electricity was turned off for non payment.. Danielle let that happen, but had her dress.. she seems to lack mama bear instincts in caring for her m I Dr.
He claims he can do whatever he wants, petulant and snapping at producers, more so next week in preview for reunion show.
Days did decide to get married and it was lovely, her parents walked her to the alter in Filipino outfits.
His mom, after failing to derail the nuptials, was not there, but his daughter happily participated.
Cassia did marry internet junk guy, in an awkwardly revealing dress.
Evelin was a beautiful bride, family came, his mother told her that once she knew Evelin, she could not imagine a better wife for her son. The sister who was so ugly told the camera she was ok with it.
They posed for lovely beach pictures to hopefully send to her family.

I just watched a marathon of episodes and I just love Amy and Danny. They met at a bible college in Australia. Being virgins....at the reception his brothers handed him the "sex torch". Too funny.
Danielle is a total wacko. Mohammed is a real jerk. She certainly doesn't look like a cougar.
I like Evelin and Justin. What a beautiful bride. I think they'll be ok.
Yamir and Chelsea....I don't know if they'll make it. I think his music is more important to him than she is.
I think Daya and Brett will make it.
As long as Jason listens to what ever Cassie says and wants they may survive. I guess it's hard leaving one's family and country. Feeling alone at times.

In re Yamir: I got so tired about hearing about his music. He's not that great of a singer and I don't think he's got the looks or charisma to pull it off. He needs to move on, learn English if he is going to live in the US, and kick Chelsea in the butt so hat they can live their lives outside of he basement.

I agree. Also I definitely think that Danielle has a low IQ. Her hiding her face when asked a question and when she did answer she gave very short answers with little detail. Very child like.
