Just saw on GMA that Tamar had to drop out. She's back in the hospital and now has blood clots in her lungs.

If she really almost died days ago, what was she thinking..
Hopefully she will deal with this, no flying for now. Pneumonia itself is serious, embolism or not.
Would be nice to bring Alexa back, but without viewer votes, she would be gone again.

I guess they'll still do an elimination next week, and just go with three couples for finale week instead of four. They already did the votes for next week so they can't bring Alexa back...

Was watching GMA this morning and in the discussion they said that Tamar believed she was dealing with pneumonia when she went to the hospital on Monday - she was released, and ok'd to dance - - they asked the GMA doctor about the blood clots in both her lungs and the doctor said that she probably felt worse after dancing and went right back - it is something that was not caused by dancing, if she hadn't been dancing, she would have still felt the pain in her lungs...
(hope I'm remembering correctly - its just some were questioning the timing, that her coming back in to do that last dance but not her individual dance, was that drama for ratings - it was not! She was told that if she didn't do the group dance she would've been eliminated like Kim Z, but she wanted to dance for the team, not let the team down)

Frankly she looked deathly ill to me. I told DH at the time I was petrified she was going to faint like Marie Osmond did. I thought Tamar was nuts to come back a d dance risking her health. But it was an impressive show of her inner strength and determination. And I am not a fan but am giving her props.

The clots are probably just a symptom of something more serious. I hope it isn't heart related.

Reading that Tamar's condition could be heart related, I remembered that Toni Braxton had some heart issue several years ago. Googled and read that she was diagnosed with microvascular angina, after her first appearance on DWTS back in 2008 and had pericarditis -- inflammation of the tissue surrounding the heart in 2004.
Doesn't sound like Tamar has the same problem, but could be that the family has some genetic heart disease.

Next week is the two night finale.
Tonight they each danced three times, a regular dance, then they had a dual with another couple, the winner got 3 extra points, then a trio with the star and two pros.

So, was there REALLY a bottom 2 last night and was it truly Bindi and Nick? Or was that all just a bid for drama at the last second so that everyone could breathe a huge sigh of relief that no one was eliminated because of Tamar leaving?

I find nothing at all annoying about Bindi. I wish more people in life had her attitude in life - go for the unknown and enjoy every moment of it.
