I think that Alek does better when there's not a 'theme' night. He's not an actor or dancer, so trying to put some acting skills (channeling Elvis) while dancing is probably harder for him than anyone else.... (Paula too, but she's used to being in front of the camera)

I wonder how many times Leah said "amazing" last night and was she calling Louis out on his reaction to the scores Paula got.
What a relief that she is finally gone. Someone in wardrobe must really dislike her.
So often she looked like a parade float.

I love Bindi but no way was that a perfect score dance. The middle section of the dane seemed off and her lift was wobbly

Maybe they realized some of the higher scores last week were a wee bit elevated too.. I just don't trust them not to manipulate scoring at times.. lots of times.

Pamy, I agree. Bindi's dance was not worthy of a 40 - her lift was very wobbly.
OTOH, I thought Carrie Ann was off-base not giving Nick a 10 for his Saturday Night Fever dance. Both Andy and Tamar's dances were flawless.

Mark kind of stole the show on his dance... and talk with Leah in the skybox.

I actually think Tamar can be a good dancer but she is so arrogant that it is hard to root for her. I was happy that Tamar went home instead of Alek or Alexa.

I love the Halloween show. It's a lot of fun to watch. The costumes and the dances were very entertaining.
I agree about Tamar. She just doesn't come across well with her comments and interviews. I would have rather seen her eliminated than Hayes.

Tamar needs to G. O. Her arrogant attitude is a HUGE turn off for me. When she rolls her eyes at the judges' critiques I want to slap her silly.
While I am not a big Mark fan (his attitude is bad too at times) I LOVED his Edward Scissorhands dance! Truly excellent.
Team Nightmare truly did a much better job on the team dance. I was surprised at the poor quality of Team Who You Gonna Call. It lacked any true flavor.

At the end of the show, I noticed that Alec was talking a lot to Hayes. I suspect as 'outsiders' to the Hollywood world, they bonded quite a bit. It just seemed to me like they were good buddies.
Surprised that Derek's team did not win the team dance. The beginning was just not very good to me.

Sorry for serial posting...but I just watched Team Nightmare's dance again and it really was as good as I remembered (actually I watched it twice). It really was more like one of the opening numbers on So You Think You Can Dance than it was a Dancing With The Stars number...I wonder if having a contemporary dancer like Allison (and that girl is still looking amazing to be in her mid-term pregnancy!) enhanced that performance - that opening sequence where they were all around that table was truly excellent!

Really enjoyed the show last night. Felt bad for Hayes...saw him wiping away tears when they were saying goodbye.
What an attitude Tamar has. Even standing there waiting to see if she would be eliminated, her facial expression and body language were very confrontational. Shocking to hear her say she is the best dancer there. Thought it funny when the judges pointed out all her mistakes in her dance after that clip. Hopefully her attitude will have her voted out next week. Everyone else seems so nice.
Team Nightmare's dance was excellent. In the past Derrick has given his teams fantastic choreography but not last night. Wonder if he was told to tone it down to give the other team a chance? Of all the professional dancers, Derrick is the one I would like to know. He seems so genuine and positive with everyone. Liked it that they showed him applauding the other team and (reading lips) saying something about how great it was.

Anyone else shocked at the moves Alison does at 4mo pregnant? I cant even enjoy her dances because it looks she could injury herself/baby. Im sure the doc clears her but I didnt even wear heels when I was preggers for fear of falling down LOL

It's amazing what these athletes (and they are athletes) can do with their bodies. I couldn't believe that dance Julianne did so soon after having appendicitis.

Mark really doesn't care much for his partner. She made a mistake, apologized, and he just let it hang. He didn't offer her any kind of "it's ok" at all. he just sealed my opinion of him...he is imho an a$$.

I believe that Val is mad at production for 'making' Tamar look like a witch, but he is being a good partner Which also proves my point that he will encourage her because they are partners...versus Mark that is hanging Alexa out to dry.
Her inspiration was her sister? Bindi spoke more lovingly of Grace Kelly.
