Well Kim gets the award for the most astonishing improvement. The rest were all about the same (maybe not quite as good because it's the second dance) except Bindi was equally amazing. Chaka was eliminated and made a gracious exit.

I didn't see the jazz in Alek's though it was a lovely dance.
Chaka and Keo.. well I am with Tom, she was one I was hoping to learn more about but the dancing wasn't good, maybe her fans weren't voting and I don't think Keo is generating many votes of his own..
Kim improved, still not a fan.
And Tamar, for cripe's sake, you could be fabulous at this.. what is with being so judgemental about contact.. this is all about that..
Had to laugh when Tom pointed out that Val isn't used to his partners being so standoffish..

I was pleasantly surprised at how well Kim Z. did last night. She ditched the waist trainer which probably helped immensely. She was definitely the "most improved" of the night.

Yes she was. Maybe I'll warm up to her in time. It also looked to me like she had either realized or been advised that sour faces when others got better scores was a sure way to the exit (remember Charlotte last season, that definitely was a factor IMO) and at least when I noticed Kim was acting and looking supportive of others. That is a plus!
I thought Paula was determined to do better as well.. you could see this steely look in her eyes. And she's had to learn quickstep and rumba already.
Still feel like Chaka had potential and NOT impressed with Keo. She was sad but gracious.

Not too shocked at the results...I think it's split into three groups- Bindi/Alexa/Carlos/Tamar in the top group, Alek/Hayes/Andy/Nick in the middle group, and Kim/Paula/Gary/Victor as the bottom group. I don't think that means Kim/Paula/Gary/Victor are necessarily the next four out, and there's bound to be a shock elimination at some point (I think Carlos or Tamar), but things are lining up pretty well so far.

This is Keo's third season - twice he went out first, and once he went out second. There is something about him that just gnaws at me.
