I used contact paper on a fridge years ago - wood pattern on top and sides & a cute kitcheny pattern for the front. I had 6 sons and never had a problem with peeling off & it was easy to wipe down!

Kid Sis & I watched it. WHY would one plunk down down money for a booth - in a community that doesn't accept you all, with high priced jewelry (that me & Sis think is rather ugly but just because you're on TV). Who is supposed to buy? They may feel vested in the whole sisterwife experience, but most folks don't. Makes no sense.

Also, WRT the other wives wanting to concentrate on their real estate work, Nevada is one of the worst underwater real estate places in the country.

In this recession people don't have extra money to be tossing around. Just saying.

ETA: Our Mom did a LOT of booths when she retired, selling her baby quilts and stuff. But she was alway careful about figuring which place she had the best potential for sales vs. her fees.

I have a friend in real estate here in Vegas. It is slowly picking up, but she works very hard for little money still at this time. Hope the sister wives are ready to work 12-15 hours a day.

Im not sure what Robin expected,Kristine and Janelle studied and worked hard to obtain their real estate licenses. It sounds as if she wants them to throw it all away to sell ugly, expensive jewelry.

I really question their business sense. They live in where? oh VEGAS! Surely they could find a little booth somewhere or someone reliable to sell their trinkets on consignment to the millions of tourists that LOVE Sister Wives and not drive 2 hours to a town that hates them?
Then the houses ...... I would have just been sick thinking about paying a mortgage for a house of that size with no income. I would have been knocking at a casino door the morning after the trade show to get a job serving drinks. None of them including Kody seem to understand money and finances that well.

I think Robyn is being somewhat unrealistic and a little bit selfish expecting everyone to share her dream. Christine and Janelle have dreams of their own. I thought Janelle looked very pretty. Her face looks like she's losing some weight. Please, Meri, step away from the bronzer. You're looking like something that grows on a tree in Florida. Ugh!

Sueby, you're right. Sell sisterwives souvenirs in a booth on the strip. And I bet they could get some kind of jobs at a casino where they would get salary plus tips because they're celebrities. Other wise, why did they pick this particular city? The best way to make money here in LV is to cash in on celebrity. Many have done it, including Chicken George.

I agree, Sueby, why would they even name it Sisterwife's? That immediately limits their market and the people who would be in their market aren't buying jewelry.

I hope they are reading this and taking notes! The last time I was in Vegas I paid a Johnny Depp impersonator $5.00 to get my picture taken with him! Impersonators are all over the strip and downtown for tourists to get their pictures taken with for $5 bucks. Imagine what a person would pay the real thing. Like probably $10 bucks!!! Those women could take turns going out 2 at a time and make a mint.

I also think Robin is being unrealistic and selfish. Their jewelry is just not for everyone. They have a very limited market.

They have a lot of houses and lot of kids. I just don't know how they support themselves. I guess the show pays them well.

Yes, SUEBY, they would probably make more money posing for pictures in Vegas than selling their very limited appeal jewelry.

I'm tired of Robyn's pouty face. Trophy wife? I don't think so. Janelle is fast becoming my favorite. She seems the most calm and down to earth.

Isn't Janelle (I like her best too) the one that did all the accounting and payment of bills back when they lived together. Now they have to pay their own bills apparently.

I think the show must pay pretty good and intervenes at times. Like, when applying for home loans Whosh! Robyn's bad credit was suddenly paid off and cleared up. Made for another episode.

Looks like Janelle is able and willing to bust her butt doing real estate. They all should be very grateful. She's going to become the main breadwinner.

I am also a Janelle fan, and I find Robyn unrealistic on the jewelry line. Why would they go to such an unfriendly place to sell their items ? Also the use of their photos and the business name is just a bit too " in your face "for me.
Kody's car just makes me crazy...He needs the biggest SUV possible instead of a chick magnet convertible .How these women would even want to share him is beyond me.

This last episode I noticed that Kody seems to be dipping into Meri's bronzer. They're both looking pretty orange.

As much as I am not a Kody fan, I had to admire the way he stepped up to the plate and dealt with Mariah's hissy fit this week. I agreed with him that Meri was just feeding into her mood and not helping her. I thought Kody was right on when he told her that it's okay to be sad when things aren't going your way, but then you have to suck it up and be nice to your family. He was very gentle but firm with her. She was acting more like 10 than 18. I thought he did a great job with her.

Glad they finally all got into their homes and they can be one family again instead of four.

I agree with you BJM. I'm not a Kody fan either but I was impressed with how he handled Mariah's/Meri's hissy fits.

Both Kid Sis and I think Meri probably procrastinated with her paperwork and all the nitpicking details WRT her house. So she fell to the back of the line when it came to Closing. Then Meri could endlessly bellyache because it wasn't fair. I'm fast becoming a Not-a-fan of Meri, frankly.

I agree w/you Babyjaxmom. I would add to the whole Mariah/Meri thing that Mariah IS the only child that comes off as being spoiled. I believe that Meri promotes this spoiled attitude in her only child. IMO, Meri seems to feel more deserving of consideration about everything. I find her to be the most offensive & least likable of the wives.

I think the 4 houses is a great dynamic for this family. I especially like the back yard that is inclusive of all 4 homes. From the front - 4 separate homes, from the back - 1 backyard for 1 family. It's a win/win! They can later put 1 lg pool in for everyone behind one of the middle homes (of course, Meri will prob. think the pool should be behind "her" home & therefore, be hers).

I agree about Meris personality. It is not a bad edit. I got a creepy vibe with Mariah just sitting in the car staring at all the houses and not parking and getting out of the car.

I just think Meri acts like the old model of the first wife in a polygamous family. Remember in Big Love, how Mary Kay Place's character was the 6th or 7th wife and clawed her way up in the power line? Seems like that was the way it was set up, with #1 running the house. Meri should snap out of it, things are different now.

I was confused with this week's show. Is the father of Robyn's son (that she got pregnant with before married) the same father as the other children? I wasn't sure how long she stayed with him.

Some of those kids were way too young for the "keeping your purity" talk.

Didn't Robyn say she spent 9 yrs trying to make that relationship work? If so, the guy would have to be the father to all 3 of her pre-Brown kidos. IMO, this relationship has been a great blessing for her & her 3 children. I do think that Meri has gotten in her head though. She really does seem to Love Meri as a mentor/older sister type.....so I guess this is really working for them.

Christine has really come into herself & I'm finding myself enjoying watching her more & more. I do not find her to be the "needy" wife as I did in earlier seasons. I realize that she was the youngest wife before Robyn came into the mix & she was also pregnant w/her 6th child when Robyn was introduced. Her struggles that she went through are totally understood.

I still like Janelle the best. IMO, she is the most intelligent of the wives & the least needy. She brings calm stability to her life & also to Cody's. Yep, her house is hectic as any home w/6 kids ranging in age 19 - 5 would be. She always speaks in a calm voice & seems so happy to just be.........happy & secure. Plus, she must have good genes, because IMO, she has the most attractive children.
