I'm behind and just heard Jessica. First I couldn't believe at the beginning of the show during the recap when they were showing her lying on the couch with cloths on her forehead or whatever. Come on! Then when she was telling the judges she thought they were stopping her from singing because they didn't like her. I did think she did a pretty nice job singing but I still didn't connect with her.
I'm thinking the judges were told to say nice things about Hollie this week so people won't give her sympathy votes. Hopefully she believes it and relaxes and kills it from here on out. I thought she sounded great but then I always do.
Just heard Randy tell Joshua that he hopes America shows up for him tonight ... blah blah blah.

I just find it easier to know the number than to freeze the recording and have to wait for the stupid banner the dvr puts across the bottom to go away so I can fead the number.
Dial Idol has Joshua as the only one safe and Sklyar and Colton at the bottom (Earlier Elise was at the bottom). More voting to go, of course.

As far as I know, they will only eliminate one idol tomorrow because they had already lost an extra idol when Jermaine was disqualified and they eliminated two that week.

Skylar sounds flat in a lot of this song. And I'm sorry but a little girl should not be singing Try a Little Tenderness. Jessica has a big voice but she's still a little girl. It should be sung by someone who's tasted some life.

After two successful calls, total busy signals for Skylar.. and she's still in bottom two per dial idol.. they now have Joshua and Phillip safe. Colton in last.. but the last 5 could go statistically per them.

I was really disappointed with both of Colton's performances and Jessica's last one was terrible. She screeched through it and did not connect with anyone. I do find her song choices a little "old" for her sometimes. She has a good voice but I feel like she's trying to be more grown up than she needs to be.
Hollie was great with both songs, Phillip was Phillip and I love "The Midnight Hour"....takes me back!
Joshua is starting to bore me. He's good but I don't want him to win. I think Elise has a distinctive style and a good voice too. I like to see what she comes up with. I'm not a huge country fan but I think Skylar does a good job. She attacks the songs in a good way and seems to love what she is doing. That is what I like about Phillip too....he really enjoys singing.

Well, the judges should be pleased. Dial Idol now has Joshua, Jessica and Phillip safe in that order.
Hollie could be anywhere from first thru seventh, Elise and Skylar anywhere from second thru seventh and Colton anywhere from fourth thru seventh.
But that's just Dial Idol.
I suppose vote for the worst is still voting for Hollie? Oh, no.. they were voting for Phillip!

Unfortunately, I think it is between Elise and Hollie. I think Jessica's fans were bored and over-confident and that Jessica is more popular than her bottom placing last week indicates.
I don't think that the fans are coalescing as much around one or two contestants as they did in the first few seasons so the quality of the performances on a weekly basis may have a greater impact on results.
Then again it could be one of the ones that haven't been threatened with leaving.

Yeah, I think my money is on Elise going home this week. Too many young girls love Colton and I think he will be safe.
I thought Phillip brought it last night. I just love him.
