It did sound like that guy was clueless about how to treat a friend, or had a little agenda of his own. Watching yesterday's Tom eviction now, and Aaron's the only one getting booed. I just don't get it. Wish Jay had gone.

And his first name is really Justin. I'm guessing Jay is just a nickname for Justin. He's phony all the way. He works at several jobs. Trained as a plumber, hair dresser and something else I've forgotten, but also works as an escort. I guess he is the male counterpart to Rebeckah. Also, Ch 5 has planned a special which will follow him coming home after his experience on BB. I guess that's why they really want Jay to win. Much better show if they follow the winner home than just another loser. Also they had to make sure he made it to the finals or there's no point to such a show.

I really, really think things like that damage the integrity of the show. I'm a bit shocked at it. It's time for the finale! Heaven's new hair suits her. Rebeckah and Jem couldn't make it, hmmmmm.

I meant to say earlier re the waxing of certain tender body parts... why would anyone do that?! It's got to be tender for days afterwards, it hurts enough doing legs!

And more... Finishing in third place on Big Brother 2011 is: Alex! OMG!!!!! totally shocked! Please don't let Jay win, pleeeease! I'm guessing there were a lot of Jay votes as votes against Aaron, and Aaron votes because people thought he was being mistreated. Maybe nobody remembered to vote for Alex. Good though, as she's got £30K and was a bit vapid, if nice.

I am very happy with the results of this BB. Not happy with the way Aaron was treated but glad he won.

It's really awkward, he doesn't know what to think, he won and yet the crowd are booing and basically giving him the cold shoulder. What sore losers the crowd are. Seems a bit better now.

Very very happy that Aaron won. It seemed as if everyone connected with the show did everything they could to make him look bad. Funny thing about the British public, they always like the underdog. I was really surprised at Alex not winning, but as long as it wasn't Jay, I'm happy.

Final money (unless they do actually sort it out): £50,990 - Aaron £30,000 – Alex £14,500 – Jay (reduced from £15,000) £3,500 – Louise (reduced from £4,000) £10 – Tom Jay and Louise have £9K each if they split their winnings (the modelling they're bound to get will quickly make up the £500 owed), then Alex can give Tom £10K and Aaron £9K and they're done. It wouldn't surprise me if Aaron tells Alex to keep his £9K, given that he won, he's gentlemanly like that, and genuinely seems to be very fond of her.

It seemed to me that they were mean to Aaron on BOTS too. What is it that made those in charge dislike him so much? Whatever it was, I failed to see it.

I am still formulating my thoughts but Pete Burns was way out of line with his question about if Aaron had been bullied as a child or ignored by his parents? what the freak was that As for Nikki I think she had a lot of nerve calling Aaron on tantrums at least when he got into a strop it was not over silly things like the air conditioning.

Someone suggested on another forum that probably the reason Louise (& Jay) bought expensive gifts for Alex & Tom was to make sure Louise was given her share of 10,000 (now 9,500) I agree that Aaron will probably tell Alex to keep his split. In the US, she would be liable for taxes on the full 30k which would dramatically drop the total figure. Hope she accounts for that. I sure hope next year includes feeds - rumor has much was missed (or covered up) I'm glad Aaron won & wish all the best.

I was bracing myself but it wasn't as bad as I feared. The audience in the BOTS studio were quite good, and most of the sour grapes came from that other room thankfully. I thought Emma did ok, even though it was all in a bit of a subdued tone for a celebration. Weird that the best friend said he thought he got Aaron more votes. Not sure if he thought he was using good reverse psychology or if he thought people would admire a gameplayer. There was a new tax law earlier this year about some winnings being non-taxable, but I think simple game show winnings are still taxable. The tax rates are steep, assuming they all had some income before most will be paying 20% (if it is taxable) and Aaron will probably be taxed mostly at 40%. It's such a small win really, I mean it could be twice his salary, which is a great windfall, but it's not like a US game show prize... particularly after taxes. Yep, great result, but in many ways a painful season with little joy. And I wish they gave us the voting percentages!!!

no they arent. its tax free. they discussed it in the house. have read two percentages. one was 77% for aaron but i dont believe it since four finalists. the more reliable number i saw was that aaron won with 35% of the overall vote. that means the other three split 65%, so aaron won. i also think that since the votes are counted all week, tom would have had some of that total percentage. i've read so much negative posts about nikki and pete's questions. I thought both of them were trying to get aaron to explain himself. Aaron has always out n out refused to explain himself in the house and would jsut plain shutdown. In my opinion they were hoping that he would come clean as to WHY he is how he is. instead he refused to address any of the hard questions. oh and if Aaron had been bullied as a child or ignored by his parents is not what was asked. Aaron still played his role at the finale, and a couple of his comments were so unlikely, i was surprised. I've been backing aaron since day one and thought he was playing one heck of a game. however, instead of coming clean, he still is playing games. I think that is why Nikki and Pete were being brutally direct. aaron's Foolish answer bugged me, that his son never has strops cause he is perfect. this finale was the time for insight and truthfulness. i'm disappointed we didnt see any. instead, while watching his best bits aaron was shaking head no and making wide eyed faces at his friend and brother. Can someone explain to me why aaron would look horrified and shake his Head adamantly NO when they were playing him and faye kissing and saying they loved each other?? the way he quickly looked at his 'friend' and the brother struck me as strange. heard a rumor that this is the boyfriend, not really the best friend. I somehow dont think we will get any answers after the fact. aaron was very private in the house and didnt share one iota of new stuff at finale' i hope next season has a more diverse cast. this season i could only relate to aaron and was cheering him on

"Were you a bullied child in school or an ignored child in home?" is exact words used . In a time that is supposed to be to be upbeat that question was so inappropriate, and he did later answer it and said he had an awkward childhood but his parents were amazing. No one ever attacked any of the other mums, why take a swipe at Aaron's. As for thinking his son is perfect, I think any parent put on the spot about their child on national television would have done the same thing, he adores his son and thinks the world of him.. Plus his strops were nothing compared to Nikki's. Nikki's question was fine but Pete's was out of line. Why he would be looking towards his brother is that is the direction where the screen is where they were able to see it. Funny Alex covered her eyes and mouth and said no no during her best bits too. i think it is more in reaction to how they sometimes forget even the littlest things can be picked up on and shown. They all looked at their family during this time not just Aaron. I think overall Big Brother production did a poor job in all this. Knowing how the crowd was reacting they should have figured out a way to at least calm the negativity during the final interview. He had won and all screaming in the world would not have changed that. The crowd in every BBBOTS show has been skewed toward positive in every eviction and this time huh? I appreciated his answers as being done during a stressful moment with a crowd baying for his blood, thinking if they all hate me what must my family think. Even with the stuff they showed with him and Faye they did not show her moody side , her comments like about his son. It just frustrated me that even in his interview they did not really give him a chance. I am pleased with the results, i thought Aaron had more to play for, more to lose as well by going in there. It is a game and social experiment and he gave us a lot of entertainment and more interesting interaction than anyone else in that house..

Agree with Kellee on just about everything. Asking Aaron to explain his actions with reference to his childhood is not just rude it's saying his behaviour is so freaky there must be some extreme reason for it when it was relatively normal for a sensitive person. Although he sulked too much to me his behaviour was the most relatable in the house and he shouldn't be made to feel a freak, particularly by Pete Burns of all people (pot - kettle - black anyone?). I think in future finales, and even live evictions, they should make sure there are fans of each housemate right near the speakers, so at least there's a chance that the housemates will hear some cheers for them.

By the way, unless it's changed today, none of the percentages are in any way proven. "Insiders" have said (allegedly) 77% Aaron in Aaron vs Jay, 53% Aaron in the final four stage and various other numbers. But none are confirmed by C5. I noticed at no point did Brian say it was tight, whereas before he's said that, so I think Aaron was the clear winner even if it wasn't 3:1 as the 77% would suggest.
