sucking up the water and drying the place out with special industrial dehumidifiers will take a few hours to a few days.
this could get interesting. ALSO this is all over the area, not just BB house. getting a Flood Restoration specialist could be tricky if a bu nch of places flooded
Corin refused to do this and John James and Sam have been arguing with her about not being a team player.
then a few hours later JJ refuses to wear the crab costume. I did not HEAR the hms call him nothing but crabeyes... they still called him John James. he also wore his predictable hat and his predictable eyeliner and predicable hoodie.
at least other people are trying a bit.
As soon as i saw that big cuddly costume and heard JJ say being called crabeyes doesnt bother him at all, i knew it was ALLLLLLL about getting JJ fans all swoonie.
is that a word?
he has been a five star Ahole lately. but even a jerk can be edited cute IF you have the costume
this flood changes everything tho. wonder what will come next>?? i can see them having to sleep in task room but be able to use garden.

Sounds like the HMs will be back in the house (or the rest of it, that is) soon. Gotta say that I'm impressed with their speediness. Hopefully it doesn't mean the house will fall apart over their heads due to the roofers taking some shortcuts. 
I'm totally pro-Corin, Mario, and Andrew now. And that might be about it. John James has been awful, and Dave is just lucky that the editing is cutting a lot of his behavior out. JJ is pretty pathetic too -- no opinions of his own, no personality, just a follower. He's about as interesting as Steve. Josie is overhyped and tends to contradict herself. I want to like Sam, but he has just gone so far with the pranks on Corin that I'm starting to think I'd be fine with him going on Friday.
It's nice to know that John James will not be in the finals, but Corin will. (I'm pretty confident about that.)

Just FYI, tonight's HL show is extended to 90 minutes so they can show the flooding and the aftermath. There is also talk today that Josie told JJ1 they're "over" - I think there's a video on Ch4, but I haven't seen it yet.

For anyone who wants the scoop on the J JJ1 break up:
Josie has said that she is refusing to talk to John James after he asked her whether she and Corin had ganged up on Sam after he hid some of Corin's belongings.
Earlier, Josie and Corin were shouting at Sam in the garden, telling him to grow up and to stop insulting Corin's appearance. Sam then went inside and told John James and JJ about the situation and they came outside to ask what was going on.
"Why are you getting involved Josie? It's nothing to do with you," said John James. Josie then berated John James for being disloyal and accusing her of something he knew nothing about, saying she did not want to talk to either him or Sam for the rest of the programme.
"I'm not having that John. If this was my brothers I'd be disgusted. You need to learn how to be a gentleman mate, so don't talk to me for the rest of the programme," shouted Josie, before storming off inside with Corin and refusing to talk about the situation further.
Andrew tried to resolve matters, telling Corin that they should just enjoy the rest of their time in the house. However, Corin also criticised Sam, saying: "He's just taken jokes to a whole new level by being nasty. I was crying in the bathroom yesterday 'cause of him."

Thanks for the info and links to the picture gallery. It's amazing how quickly they can get the water out. You'd have thought they'd want to keep that main room out of bounds for at least a few days - I'm not sure if the other rooms are connected and they can move around the house and to the garden without the main room. Apparently the live stream is up, so they have some areas to film at least!
Good on Josie for kicking JJ out! Finally! I don't think it will last though.
The extended episode is 2-3.30pm, board time.

On BBLB they'll be going into the house to see the damage. Also revealing what Nathan, Rachel, Rachael and Ben will be doing to take part in this week's shopping task. Seems like it might be one to watch.
Lots of anti-Josie stuff on DS because of her dumping JJ. Not sure how representative that is.

Wow! I started getting videos and old highlight shows early last evening on the feeds, so I just turned them off. Didn't even read DS, so I didn't know about the flood. I'm with those of you who worry about mold and if there will even be an Ultimate BB.
So Josie is already trying to make up with JJ. If a man wouldn't let me have my own opinion on something, he'd be long gone.
There is no way Josie should win this show as long as she's let John get away with treating her like this and she keeps going back for more. I so wish the HM's had voted Corin in the finals. I do believe she wouldn't be getting teased right now had that happened.

sorry but my favourite part was when Rachel said that she wanted to wear gloves but they wouldnt let her.
JJ got really off his nut after he saw the look of disgust on her face LOL
when jj went back in house, he completely fabricated the conversations and his part in it.
as for the JJ josie breakup, it is all just tv time I think.

With the studio lights & heating, the HM say the air is so dry in the house, I wouldn't imagine there will be a problem with dampness. No clue how they could have dried out the mattresses overnight. Apparently the beds have wood around the mattresses that was filled up 12" with water.

Anyone listening to this non stop BS from Dave in the garden with Corin? He told her that Sam stole her makeup and wigs because he (Sam) had a task from BBLB. He ASSURED Corin she would find this out when she left the house. He is telling her that he never talks about people and is not two faced.... it is literally making my ears bleed listening to this. Corin did call JJ1 out on arguing mostly with women though, which was really good to hear that she figured at least this much out.

Yay, Ben is back. I guess Mario had a task, which was a choice to be interviewed on The Ben Show or be handcuffed to Ben or someone(?). He chose the handcuffs (big surprise there, eh?) so Ben is in the house for a few days. He's met Dave's family and has possibly been to places in Dave's town.
He told Sam that Sam had all of his (Ben's) previous fans because he was a maverick like him. Watch Josie/John and Dave rush to kiss up to Sam now.
I can't wait to watch the highlights today of them moving them out of the flooded house, as earlier, Corin, Josie and Mario were talking about how good looking some of the staff were.
