I don't want Ben to leave... Dave to go, definitely. Steve seems to want to go, so it's his time if he's not getting anything out of it. I'm ok with JJ staying, but I do not want him to win... I doubt he'd go this week anyway.

I think Steve or Dave will win S&R. I don't think Ben (because he's fed up of not sleeping) or John James (because he feels he's popular and it would look good) will play for it.
Steve might replace himself with Rachel??
Dave might replace himself with Corin???
Ben might replace himself with Mario?
JJ might replace himself with Rachel???
I really haven't a clue... Dave plus either of Steve or Rachel would work for me. I would hate Ben to go.

Oh my, my dream almost came true. I don't want Ben to go though. I hope he has enough of a fan base to keep him in but it's hard when there are more than two up. His fans will be splitting their votes. I hope someone puts Rachel up in the S&R because I think she'd go before any of the fellows. Then it's a crap shoot as to who will be the second. I do think more people dislike Dave and Steve than dislike Ben. I'll have to keep my fingers crossed until Friday.
Just a thought, if Steve really misses his family and Dave and JJ1 both say they aren't going to try for the S&R, might they just give it to Ben? That would be perfect for me. I don't know who he'd put up in his place. Maybe Mario because he has been so snarky towards Ben lately and Ben can say it's because he knows he won't go.

YEAHHHHHHHHHHH CHANNEL 5!!!
I couldn't understand how BBUK could be dropped completely - UK has the most obsessive BBer's in the world. Even the US ratings are high for BB & I think the show is boring without the live feeds.
Promoting this as the last season (on channel 4) of BBUK assures the biggest possible audience, instead of people taking it for granted.
I *SO* hope Davina is included in the channel 5 BB.

In one of my many moments of trying to avoid doing something more constructive I had a look at the "most favourite" and "least favourite" polls at DS. Ben has way more "most favourite" than least, whereas for both Steve and Dave (and Rachel) they have very few "most fave" and lots of "least fave." oldJJ had a lot of both too. A problem would be those who liked oldJJ, for example, thought Ben was the most likely to go other than JJ and ganged up to vote him out. Hopefully everyone will know if Dave's up NOW IS THE TIME!! ;)
The "who voted for whom?" (but not fully on why) release is published already. The noms went:
Andrew: Steve (forceful), Rachel
Ben: Steve (snoring), oldJJ
Corin: Rachel (loud), Andrew (authoritative)

Ben won't go. I can categorically say that to be true because I've been correct on every eviction except Rachael's and Sunshine's and ... oh. Seriously though, I don't think he will go. He has a lot of haters but he also has a lot of fans.

Five has definitely been purchased but there is nothing definite yet about BB, just that the new owner wants it.
As for Josie and JJ, Josie is far from the innocent party in this "relationship:/ She manipulates JJ and goers out of her way to wind him up every nominations day.
It can't be a coincidence that Steve is nominated shortly after the comment from Joel about how he thinks he's untouchable.

Thanks for the updates everyone. I thought it was becoming a boring house, even with the newbies, but lots of drama today.
I'm not a huge fan of Ben, but I'd rather he stay, he can be interesting, in an annoying kind of way. I don't mind Steve going, I think he really does miss his family, but doesn't really say anything interesting. I hope John-1 doesn't go, I don't like some of the things he's done, like to Rachel-1 and Sunshine, but he has some good qualities. I'm so glad Dave is up, I hope he goes--don't let the door hitcha where the good Lord splitcha Dave. I hope John-1 wins the save and replace and puts Josie up, lol, but I think it would be Rachel, with anyone actually.
I'm glad John-1 came back, like someone mentioned, Lisa had done that too. I think John-1 was trying so hard to let Josie down easily, while maintaining a friendship, and that just didn't work; he has always been clear that he sees her as a friend. From what I saw, Josie didn't really like him in that way until Rachel told her what she felt, then she was unsure, then yesterday I think, Corin told Josie that John-1 will definitely snog her, so maybe that's fresh in her mind and she got insecure. Also, maybe Josie has been getting more and more insecure since John-1 has been spending time with newbie JJ, so she is pushing John-1 away, thinking he's going to do it to her. But that doesn't explain why she would lie, particularly on nomination day, so, I'm more unsure about her now. I hope John-1 continues to hang out with newbie JJ and gets further away from Josie, it seems it's all or nothing with her, but I'm not fully sure.
If John-1 wins, I think he'd be okay with the all-stars, bc it would be a different dynamic with those people. I still think it would be a riot of he won, but I'm leaning towards Mario, maybe even Corin, but I'm liking Rachel more now, so even though she wasn't there from the beginning, I wouldn't mind her winning, at least she's trying to have fun.

Yeah, I think Joel's comment prompted both Steve's recent depression and a couple of the nominations.
I agree Josie's not blameless in the thing with oldJJ, and she's certainly put the blinders on sometime when she shouldn't, but I see her reactions as a mostly logical response to what she's faced with, whereas JJ is just so emotionally backwards and unpredictable that I don't know how anyone could really get close to him without getting hurt somehow. He claims he didn't know Josie fancied him but come on, who in that situation wouldn't know she fancied him, let alone the one she's seemingly closest to? And especially after Josie's reaction to Caoimhe.
I think JJ really does care for her, and doesn't want to lead her on, but he made a conscious decision after that recent "I want to leave" thing to see if he could give Josie what she wanted (the extreme physical closeness) and to basically just cross his fingers and hope that there were no negative repercussions on her emotions. She understandably saw that as him thinking maybe they could make a go of it as a couple and reacted accordingly. Deep down I think she knows he never fancied her, but when given such extremely conflicting information in every other way she'd built her hopes up.
All my opinion of course ;).
Today's show:
Mario - I have tried really hard to keep liking him but I just can't any more. He might have been nice entering the house but good grief he's becoming more spiteful every day.
Andrew - wow he took that task seriously!

Stormie, Josie didn't lie! BBLB played the clip of them in bed and Josie said something like "to be compared to the whole Shabby and Caoimhe situation, I think it would be a good idea if you go and sleep with Mario. I don't want to sleep with you anymore" Then they showed oldJJ saying to newJJ something about asking her if he should move beds. Josie didn't lie. Unless you're talking about a different situation?

Kitt, I meant she lied about why John-1 was wanting to leave, she said it was about nominations, rather than her. And I disagree about John, I think that he has been very patient with her, she never was clear about her feelings for him, she only said she fancied him in the football kit (I guess that's the uniform), then she talked with everyone but John; the only way John would have known how Josie felt was if she told him, he can't be expected to guess.
When Josie did eventually tell John she had feelings for him, he tried to be kind and patient, he didn't push her away. Josie has known all along that John saw her as a friend, she was the one hoping for more, and just bc she told him she liked him, doesn't mean he was going to react, or should act, differently; she had the expectations, not him. I no longer feel bad for Josie, I think she did this to herself, the same can be said for John-1, but Josie was the one allowing others to influence her and wasn't listening to what John was telling her.
What's Andrew's DR prize? And what did he do?

No way is Mario going to win this thing. It will never happen. Everyone has seen his spiteful side and poor sportsmanship far too many times.
Andrew had a tree task where he had to act like Jack Bauer from "24" and order the housemates around. He had an earpiece and the tree told him what to do. He screamed at everybody for like 10 minutes, made them all go in the bedroom and lie on the floor, said that he was going to pick 5 people and they were going to be replaced with new HMs from a 2nd house. It was pretty funny.
Then for his prize he had some kind of luxury food in the DR and 3 dancers in bikinis basically gave him a lap dance and fed him.

Oh right, yeah, but that seemed more like a little white lie as no one would have wanted more of the JJ-Josie drama whereas they would understand him not wanting to nominate and perhaps even think more kindly of him.
I think Josie told him in every way possible except the actual words "I fancy you," and she did say something near to the actual words several times (about the football kit and when they had their heart to heart over Caoimhe). And I think he can be expected to guess when they are that close and just about every other normal male would have got a clue by then.
I agree Josie let herself be persuaded he might be interested, and it wasn't wise, but when after all their heart to hearts JJ makes a very distinct change in the parameters(??) of their relationship and starts cuddling and snuggling that means something. I don't know many women who would not take that as a signal that something had changed. It's not like he was drunk and didn't know what he was doing, it was clear he'd had a heart to heart with BB and as a result he'd decided he wanted to move their relationship on a step. I don't think it's fair of him to expect her to guess that it was just a step forward in their physical relationship and not in their partnership-relationship. If that makes any sense.

Thanks Flagg, it does sound funny, but what a stupid prize. I'm getting tired of Andrew and this naive act; it seems more and more an act to me.
I don't see Mario that way, everyone complains about something, but I think his is highlighted by Dave and Ben gossiping about him. I still like him and I would not mind seeing him win.
I'm now wondering if John-1 attempted an escape for the show, he must know Lisa did that and went back in, so maybe he took a chance. John's also been talking about how boring things are and how BB should liven things up, so it's possible he did it on purpose, to try to make some BB drama. If he did, he's very clever.

The more conspiracy minded on DS think that when JJ and J spoke with mics off under the covers they planned the whole thing. Its certainly possible.
From what little of it they showed at the end of todays HL show, he didn't seem very upset when he went out. And Josie was laughing the whole time, so maybe they did plan it, or JJ joked about doing it and then did it.

John is not a mind reader, neither is Josie, but John told her directly he doesn't see her that way--a few times. Josie, though, did tell John she liked him, first by the smoker's bench when she turned off the microphone, then awhile ago when they were in bed chatting, that's when he got up and went to the DR to say he didn't see her that way. So Josie knew John didn't see her that way before they shared a bed, he was going to share Mario's, but she wanted him to stay in hers. I think Josie has allowed other's to influence her and rather than listen to what John has said, expects him to change into the fantasy scenario other's have told her will happen, like Corin did the other day. If she had any expectations other than friends, then it's her own fault.
ETA: Thanks Flagg, then it could have all been planned; they are both clever then. If true, good one JJJ, lol.
