I am watching the live feeds from the site Kit pm'd me. I can't believe I didn't have to pay Realplayer. These people seem to be too polite and it seems a little fake to me. Not like our BB in the US. It could be the celebrity factor. I still can't figure out the time there. If it is 8 hrs. ahead wouldn't it be 4:30 am there now??

They are eight hours ahead of Pacfic, five hours ahead of Eastern, so it's 2.55am now.
Chitchat, there are no computer live feeds, but overnight in the UK there is a tv channel dedicated to the live cameras in the house. It runs from about midnight their time to 6am their time, so that's 4pm-10pm board time. As it's overnight it's often pretty dull.
They are doing a daily hour or so of live footage varying each day but usually around 1-3pm their time. That's 5-7am board time so although it's probably going to be more interestin I'm still asleep! Might be fun for East Coasters though.
I posted a schedule of the tv coverage but it's gone into the archives. If you look in the third archive, the one that's for January 2nd, it's in there.

Lady Sovereign reminds me of Nakomis from that old BB US. Ronnie Wood's ex looks like someone too, but I can't think who. She's sweet (looking).
There's only that Lady Soveriegn, Sisqo, Ronnie Wood's ex and the earlier one of Jordan's exes up at the moment. Or if there's more the camera isn't on them.

According to Inside Big Brother: Last night’s Celebrity Big Brother launch was a ratings hit, with 6.2m viewers tuning in.
Another article states: Vinnie Jones is the bookies’ early favourite to win Celebrity Big Brother (Sorry Kitt!!!!)
However, current polls have Jonas in the lead and Vinnie in 2nd - that seems more preferable, to me anyway.

I just found last year's CBB shows on my usenet server still, so I'm watching that season simultaneously with the new one.
I must say, last year's guests were a lot more interesting. I hope things pick up a bit on the new season, but they had a lot of great housemates last year. Vern, terry, Coolio, Princess Shrek...

It looks like the only daytime feed today was 1:40-2:30 BB time, I'm downloading it now off usenet.
Nighttime feed started tonight with them already asleep, or soon after. I checked at about 12:30 BB time and all are in bed with lights off. how exciting! What a lame group this year.

Flagg, daytime feeds seem to be always only about an hour long except at weekends, and with more mature hms than the summer show they're often asleep by the night time feeds. They really need to schedule tasks around the feed times to entertain us ;).
I haven't seen anything today or even last night's BBBM.... hope to catch up later.
I remembered who Lady Sovereign reminded me of, it was a character on Eastenders. I didn't see Project Runway so that's not the one that Katia reminds me of... the one I'm thinking of has a very posh voice. I have a feeling it was from a long ago children's show.

Oh dear, watching today's show and none of them seem to have much of a spark do they?
Nicola seems more than a bit vacuous. Alex seems to just self-promote (what a surprise). His buzzword is "manipulation of the press," well he should know.
Most of the rest might grow on me. But I looove Stephanie Beecham. Skype-ing her dogs, awww!
Watching the Heidi/Stephen exchange again, she said "I've seen you before... sorry," and Stephen said "it's been a long time." He said he was 21 years sober, but I don't know when he became a Christian.
I bet they're hoping for something to happen between Katia and Jonas, they seem a natural pair.

New task may liven things up - this article is from Inside Big Brother:
Task: Phone Booth of Doom
Vinnie Jones will be trapped inside a phone box
The housmemates will take part in a major task later today called the ‘Phone Booth of Doom’.
Birthday boy Vinnie Jones will answer a call in a phone booth placed in the garden. Once he’s in the phone box, he’ll be locked inside and unable to escape.
The other housemates will have to take part in eight mini tasks in order to get Vinnie out.
Speaking to the Big Brother website, task producer Ben Riley said: “It’s going to be dark and devious. There’s a real theme: Hell Lies in Others. It’s going to be exciting.”
He then explained that the task was based on “big American movies like Saw and Phone Booth” and it would be the largest scale task in Big Brother history.
Riley teased: “We might see some conflict, falling out and maybe a bit of manipulation.”

I hope it's not toooo like Saw because there's a reason I don't watch those movies! Sounds like they're going to have to sacrifice some of their own food/comfort/belongings/hair to help the others.
