I get what you guys are saying, but I hate to see Big Brother evolve into this being the only or "right" way to play.
And favoring certain play and players from the beginning isn't new, but isn't what I want to see.
The Challenge was good (for me, and obviously I can only speak for me) for a few seasons and then it got mean and I was out. Checked back in for one recent season for Derek X, and out again).
Just hate losing the joy of this show, that I have watched all these years.
I do have hope that both Drew and Yash are both left by the wayside, even though that undoubtedly means an icon win.
Yash is a powerful player but he allowed himself to be hamstrung by that bribe, and that has hurt his actual allies. His misogyny, I hope isn't rewarded. And unfortunately if Taylor pulls off not being evicted, then wins HOH, she will protect him, or try..
This bros to the end thing is exhausting.
Really looking forward to seeing how they edit this, and off to hear what Taran has to say..

So Drew picked Devins, Barrett, and Melody to watch the move with him as they agreed while still holding the swords last night.
The 3 nominees and Devins who is a Have Not. The are assuming Barrett and Devins will be able to eat snacks.

That shirt Drew is wearing has been on him every day for a while… I’d say since the medieval times comp on the night Haley left. He even takes a shower (on rare occasions) and he puts it BACK ON!

That's nice.
I have a theory about part of Barrett's isolating and it might have something to do with this apparently contagious bug in the house. Clearly brought in from outside, it has affected Devens, then Yash. Last night, Taylor actually reminded Yash to wash his hands after all his coughing and he did. He mentioned that he had just been told that swallowing his phlegm wasn't a good thing..presumably from a medical interaction in the DR.
Last night Drew was coughing and viewer's pointed out that he never covers his mouth when coughing.
I watched Barrett crawl onto the Have Not bed and it was just a flash, but it looked like he was covering his face, nose/mouth area..and he is sharing that bed with Devens who was or is contagious.
He may be following his natural need for space but also may have legitimate concerns, especially now that he HAS to win blockbuster to stay.

Dee and Yash were in the kitchen, Yash prepared a sandwich and Doritos to take outside to eat. I saw the end of his lunch-making process, so I only hope he washed hands, didn’t lick his fingers, and I REALLY hope he poured those chips rather than sticking his virus-contaminated hands inside the bag as BB houseguests tend to do… I was surprised Dee didn’t offer to prepare his sandwich and lessen the chance of him spreading his germs all over the sink/faucet/counter/fridge handle/bread bag/jars/utensils he used to make his plate.

Calimom3 earlier today I watched Yash in the kitchen alone, coughed many times and made no attempt to cover his face or cough in anyway.
Barrett was fairly social until his HOH began to fall apart and Yash and Taylor did not support his choice as they had assured him they would. Just game.
Hopefully Barrett will get back to being himself soon.

Do we think everyone got a video from home? I heard them talk about Yash's dad and grandfather, Melody's mom, Drew's mom, Deven's kids, Barrett's large family and his sister, Guess that is everyone but Taylor and Dee. I am assuming I missed hearing them talk about their videos and everyone got one?

I look at Barrett totally differently, maybe because I identify with him....I don't know why. What I see is someone who has watched BB forever and he has learned to keep his own counsel. Do not say something to someone that will come back to bite you. So he keeps his mouth shut, people talk to him commiserate and he just mmhmmm, uhhuh but doesnt say anything. He bides his time, waits. He watches, he knows where he fits on the pecking order and his original alliance goes bust when his friend is evicted and he is blindsided. Don't trust anybody, don't believe anybody and keep everybody guessing. He puts up the Icons and the house lets him down by evicting the weakest of the 3.
Now he is no longer HOH, eligible to go up for eviction, nominated. Facing double eviction. He goes underground, wait till Thursday, see if he gets blockbuster. There is no game for him until Thursday because he knows, if he doesnt get blockbuster he is gone.

Yash is so excited as he bonds with his new alliance of: Dee/Devins/Taylor/himself. They’re trying to think of a name…
He and Taylor bailed on their last alliance and voted to keep Dee over Angela. That was not Barrett’s fault yet they (and a lot of viewers) think Barrett is somehow at fault. He took a swing with the backing of his alliance. They lied… I hope Yash goes out on the Double Eviction.

Mamapors.. Maybe because I can be a reclusive twit. I definitely like people, met 125 tvch people, plus about 50 from 2 other online groups, but I am often quite content to be on my own or go places on my own. I am not Barrett, but he seems to have become an easy target. This "too soon" mantra by the the chosen icons is ridiculous. The bribe was a secret, he finally won HOH, but should protect favored houseguests, for what.. Wait two more HOHs to maybe win again.
But I am not nice, just have my own favorites.
And being immunocompromised I am more sensitive to the lack of care they show when someone does get sick in that environment.. Airborne virus? We really do know what to do, but they let it spread.
Hand washing is great but airborne viruses are contracted as they hang in the air. When I saw Barrett crawl into bed in the room with Devens it appeared like something black was over the lower part of his face. Maybe it was for protection, maybe not. I mask around others, so maybe I was projecting.
Getting videos from family had to be both great and emotional. I think Angela and LaLa probably got them too.

Melody and Drew are snuggled on the green lounger sofa in the bathroom area. She is making her plea for him to give her his VETO, and then he can win the Block Buster… that way they can BOTH stay—-gee, it sounds so simple! I can’t imagine why he’s not jumping at this genius plan… 🤷🏼♀️🤪🙃🤣🤦🏼♀️🫣🥴
