I haven't read yet, but am not expecting much. Artis was/is a rather booooring person period. Probably why they didn't show him that much.

What did Mike & Artis talk about that has Artis hating Mike so much? Didn't seem anything showed up on air (or secret scenes).

Wow, RC really hates Artis, and she is none that fond of Jeff either. Saying this based on having just watched the Artis Ponderosa clips only. I mean, she not only did not hug him, did not greet him, she actually got up and walked out of the room. Wow!

If Abi is considered the most annoying Survivor ever, then RC may be the second-most annoying this season. It doesn't seem like anyone at Ponderosa likes RC either.

Watching that YouTube video of Penner reflecting made me pause when he said that the participants were laid bare to the world. What you see is who they are....so, if you were to visit him in his home he would be exactly the same person. He implied that this is the case for all of them.
If that is true, then all the times we allude to contestants being a certain way to create a certain role in the game is not true. That Abi is just as whiney and delusional in real life as she is on the island. That Lisa is just as soft hearted and afraid to rock boats as she is on the island, that Pete is just as conniving as he was on the island, etc.
That sounds about right to me.

If you read the Jeff and Artis interviews, it appears Jeff was/is indeed bitter, but Artis was just portrayed that way on the show, and actually he is a guy who is just very grateful he got a chance at the experience and loved being out there.
