Bigdog recovered from double knee replacement on just extra strength Tylenol.

Hope you continue to improve, Naja, without too much pain.

RN I had no idea fish oil was a blood thinner, Sea I better stop taking those for a few days, too.

Thanks for the info about tylenol. I really thought it was an NSAID. Good to know it's not.

RN I finally get the chance to use the little lighted autumn tree I bought last winter on clearance. I just set it up with my terra-cotta pumpkins.

RN Naja, I love your tree and pumpkins!

Did you make or buy the pumpkins? I've seen some crafts using terra cotta pots to make odd shaped pumpkins, frankenstein and a ghost, but I've never seen round pumpkin shaped terra-cotta. Heh, sorry! I'm always looking for inspiration and ideas for holiday (especially Halloween) decorations.

RN, our Port of Los Angeles area had a huge electrical/thunder storm pass through. This is very unusual for our area. It was bright, loud and LOTS of heavy rain. It took about 2 hours to pass through. I loved every minute of it!!

RN, that’s a beautiful display, Naja.

Glad you enjoyed the storm. I usually like storms as well, as long as they’re not damaging.

I enjoyed the storm, except when the power flickered.

Over 1700 lightning strikes in all of So Cal at one point.. Probably more later.

RN Wargod, my mom bought me those pumpkins about 20 years ago. I don't know where she got them. I usually don't put the hats on them unless its super windy and the wind keeps blowing out the candles.

RN Naja, awesome find for your mom!

I love holiday decorations (Halloween in my favorite with Christmas right behind) and make a lot of my own. For my own home, I prefer cute, seasonal, maybe a little spooky but nothing too scary or terrifying and definitely no blood, guts, and gore. I decorate for all ages to enjoy and I don't want anything that little kids are too frightened of. Something like your pumpkins and tree fit my style.

That's not to say I don't like the scary stuff, lol! I have friends who do an amazing, terrifying haunted house that I love. But, it's not the type of decorating I want to do for my house.
