SoCal storm downs historic palm trees along Santa Barbara coastline
Santa Barbara County lost some of its most beloved palm trees earlier this month after a massive storm walloped Southern California, taking out as many as four trees at Refugio State Beach in Goleta, California.
Multiple palms fell last week and another two were down on Wednesday, according to Dena Bellman of the State Parks Channel Coast District, who spoke with Noozhawk, a local Santa Barbara news outlet.

WOW, it was a little sunny now we are taken over by fog! Due to the cloud cover it doesn't feel that cold but it is chilly.
Temps going to 66. There is a Wind Advisory with rain expected around 1pm.

Meteorologists say moderate to heavy rain is still expected on President's Day, and there is the possibility of thunderstorms and landslides, although there are periods when the sun could peek through as well. The strongest rain on Monday is expected to land late afternoon.
