The heavy rain is expected this afternoon.

Sort of weird, it was lovely out early this morning, sunshine and pretty.
Now I can see fog, bright gray skies, so maybe the rain is coming back.
Temps only going up to 59!

Vehicles were seen shaking with people inside after a series of strong quakes shook the western coast of Japan on Monday, prompting tsunami alerts.
The Japan Meterological Agency reported quakes shortly after 4 p.m., one of them with a preliminary magnitude of 7.6.

Smallish eathquake in So California. Many did feel it and per the time stamps on Next Door, it probably woke me up but I wasn't aware of the quake itself. And of course vastly small in comparison the the quakes in Nagano Japan.
I am not that far from our coast but in no danger from all the high waves and flooding but Know people way closer, like my doctor.

Very windy in So Cal but pretty... I'm sure they are more dangerous in the mountains and certainly would be if a fire started anywhere and I know in some areas, not here, but at altitude, there is snow too.
