Yes, we've got some⚡️strikes out there as a little atmospheric disturbance moves into the Southland this evening! Closest downpours right now are located in SW Kern County. 🌧️ are possible just about anywhere overnight but mainly light for most http://kcalnews.com/weather

No real change in the weather, I think it might be a tiny bit cooler today. Just a small breeze and clear blue skies. Temps going up to, oops I was wrong, today is the one day heat wave with temps going up to 88.

Tomorrow is when it cools down again, but only into the 70s.

Raining pigs and cows here right now. Why pigs and cows you ask ? Too heavy for cats and dogs….I can hardly see my neighbors across the cul de sac.

Interesting mention of the Great Salt Lake Dipo. I could have sworn I just read or saw that the Great Salt Lake is filling with water. Of course that has all happened since last fall with the wet winter and spring the west has experienced.

Mack you made me curious so I questioned google ... Here is what I got ...

Utah's phenomenal, record-breaking winter has already given the Great Salt Lake a boost, but it will take a few more decent winters before it reaches a safe and sustainable elevation. The lake is up by about 3.3 feet since it bottomed out at record low of 4,188.5 feet above sea level in November.
