Looks like the next storm is moving in, the wind is picking up and it is looking like rain.

WOW, there is blue sky and sunshine, with clouds starting to appear. Having a little break!

Currently 53 going up to 60 with the next storm coming in this evening with more rain.

This phase of the storm has passed, it rained most of the night but now we have bright hazy skies with the sun trying to break thru.

Currently it is 58 which is the high and the final burst of this storm coming in around 1am tonight.

This past weekend, the #Flood Operations Center supplied sand, six thousand sandbags, and equipment to a levee location on Deer Creek in Sacramento County. There, our partners at the California Conservation Corps, deployed the resources and secured the site.

Montecito, California and surrounding canyons were ordered to evacuate amid a deluge of rain that flooded roads and inundated waterways.

The evacuation order affecting about 10,000 people came on the fifth anniversary of a mudslide that killed 23 people.

Hmm, seems the rain / wind caused a bunch of problems last night. Trees down, power out and streets and streams flooded.

Currently 53 going up to 55, with rain starting up again tonight so we might get some sunshine today.

Well I was wrong, the skies darkened and we are have a bit of rain and wind. It's coming down pretty good so maybe it's considered a "sudden downpour".

The lightning storm from San Francisco has finally hit here, no lightning but the rain is really coming down hard. Had a couple of emergency notices on the TV about flash flooding.

Infrared imagery of the West Coast this morning via #GOESWest is showing an atmospheric river-fed storm following on the heels of another that moved over the region yesterday. The continuous parade of storms has brought heavy rain, mountain snow, high winds, and flooding.

The U.S. had 18 weather disasters in 2022 that caused at least $1 billion in damages, federal climate scientists say. That continues a dramatic upswing in recent years. The total cost in 2022 was more than $165 billion.

Gray, hazy skies, no breeze and no rain, for now. Currently 52 with temps going up to 58.

Showers off and on throughout the day but maybe it will skip my area, LOL.
