LIGHTS OUT: In #Guerneville and nearby towns in @CountyofSonoma gusty winds and falling trees have caused power outages. The #RussianRiver is also expected to rise as rain continues to fall.

I have a friend in Livermore that was seeing windy and rainy weather at 4pm. She had to get off our monthly zoom chat because her internet became very unstable.

It's crisp and wet out, but not raining. There is a good breeze this morning and skies are bright and hazy.

Currently 55 and that is it for the day! We have had 2 deaths and a bunch of people are still without power.

BREAKING - The iconic cement ship in Santa Cruz County broke away this morning from the pier at Seacliff State Beach. Waves are HUGE, between 25-35 feet, according to Surfline. Largest swell of the winter. 🌊 The ship keeps getting hammered.

STORM DAMAGE: An 80-foot eucalyptus tree crashed down on @Caltrain tracks in #Burlingame. It pulled down power lines for the future fleet and smashed through a fence. Train service has been suspended between Hillsdale and Millbrae since early this morning.

I saw some of the images of flooding that looked like it was on Hwy 101, just south of SF. Could not believe people were driving though it.

Yes, that was pretty amazing and stupid.

We already have one death that was a woman found in her submerged car.

It's not raining, skies are bright, gray and clear. Currently it is 48 going up to 58 and it seems there will be a break in the rain with clouds returning tonight and rain tomorrow.

California weather calmed Friday but the lull was expected to be brief as more Pacific storms lined up to blast the state, where weather systems have knocked out power to thousands, battered the coastline, flooded streets and caused at least six deaths.

Currently 53, with cloudy skies. At least it is bright, and maybe some showers later today and temps are only going up to 56.

There is a wind advisory.
