Warming up ... So far clear blue skies, no real breeze with temps going up to 95.
Might be an AC day. Currently it is 68 and we have a small craft advisory.

Dipo, please keep an eye out for South Lake Tahoe weather Aug 29 - Sep 1, and for fires. Bigdog and I are flying in for a quickie retirement reunion (my job). It has been cancelled past two years in a row because of fires.

Heat Advisory --- Bay area temps will peak today in the the triple digits.
Skies are clear but have a bit of a haze, no discernable breeze and temps are going up to 102 at my house.
The high for the bay area may hit 104!

Good surge of monsoon moisture producing widely scattered showers with a few reports of lightning. Mix of sun, clouds and fog with cooler temps for most today. Higher humidity factor though with the monsoon clouds.

Normally I wait for an ongoing flash flooding event to end before creating a summary animation, but today's flash flooding in Dallas has not only been extreme, but is still unfortunately underway.
There's reports of over 13" of rain, with widespread heavy rain still falling.

Bigger fogbank this morning. Stronger push over San Pablo Bay then up Napa Valley. Less towards Santa Rosa. Opposite of yesterday. Cloudy over San Jose.
