Sean Connery just died at age 90. Too sad for words.

He died in the Bahamas and DD said that was very James Bond of him.

What a good long life he had and how appropriate that he passed away in the Bahamas! He was definitely an icon.

I was so shocked to see this! I always think of him as Bond, young and invincible.

This is so sad. I really liked him. The role I enjoyed him in the most was Ramirez in Highlander. It was so funny that he played a Spaniard, but he kept his Scottish accent. LOL

Not a fan of his at all. He said he believes that there was nothing particularly wrong with hitting a woman. And that a husband needed to slap their wives every so often to keep them in their place.
So no I find nothing to like about him.

Firebird, I understand your feelings expressed above.

Unfortunately for me, my parents were of that type of thinking back in those macho man days. My parents eventually divorced. My mom re-married a very kind man who passed the torch to treat women with love and respect. With that said, I am sorry of "007's" passing. I enjoyed him as an actor and loved his accent too,

As his friends said, they hope there is a golf course for him. I had the same wish for my parents. When they signed up for cremation, their choices were to go over the ocean, the mountains or the desert. Mom questioned the desert and they said very few made that choice. They chose the Pacific, which they saw every day from their windows.

I thought, though, that a golf course would be better for both of them.

Wow that's so sad. Although I was apparently one of the few people that didn't watch the first season of American Idol, I liked her a lot.

So sad. 😢 Alex Trebek fought hard and looked like he might be an exception to the very deathly pancreatic cancer.

Sad loss. I interviewed him decades ago when he was the genial and handsome host of the Canadian TV show Stars On Ice.

I'm happy for him that he was able to continue doing the show he loved until almost the end. What a well lived life.

He - via his show - has been a part of my life for many years. I an remember when he got married, and how jealous I felt!

Because I have a friend who is a 5+ year survivor of pancreatic cancer, I so hoped that he would be another.
