Alfred Hitchcock's The Birds still gives me pause when I see a large noisy gathering of birds.

LOL, Rieann... I couldn't keep watching! I was only 8 at the time I saw it (see, I even remember vividly how old I was!), and it left a mark...

Although it isn't exactly a horror movie, I guess I would say Alien. I went with a friend, it had just been released, we didn't have any idea what it was about and we had no expectations for it at all. We ended up sitting in the first row of the theater (uncomfortable seats to say the least) but it was an extremely memorable experience. I remember looking up at the huge screen between my fingers at that classic scene (anyone who has seen it will know what I'm talking about).

The Exorcist. I still have not seen it all, to this day, and don't want to. I remember Mom and Dad watching it at home and I told them to turn it down. I didn't even want to hear it!

Loved reading all of the answers. I was surprised no one said Jaws.

Stole today's from an internet list as I am fighting a darn migraine.

Are you an introvert or an extrovert?

Depends on the situation. I would rather be home but if I go out I try to interact with those around me.

Yesterdays....As a kid and teen, I watched all kinds of horror movies from classics to slasher films, and nothing ever freaked me out as bad as The Wizard of Oz. To this day I've only seen it all the way through once and still have night.ares about the damn flying monkeys. No idea why I find them so terrifying.

Todays....introvert and shy on top of it.

Hmmm, I am sort of both, when I was working I was very much an extrovert but now it seems I am more introverted. I really enjoy being alone and not having to put up with "stupid people" at the office.

Honest, bit of both. Which is reflected in my alias here. I'm Auntie Mame on my happy-go-lucky days, and Blanche Dubois on my lousy days.

As for the movie question... While not a 'scary' movie per se, I lost a few nights sleep from the horse-head scene in the Godfather. Which is why I've avoided all the sequels since then.

Both. I am quite happy alone at home and terrified c public speaking to a crowd, but love people and interact with friends and strangers happily.

Back when those testing things were in vogue, I usually tested right in the middle. At work I was comfortable giving a speech to 300 people or going on television several times a week as agency spokesperson.

Kind of both. I enjoy my own time and I'm not always motivated to get out there but once I do then I'm quite extroverted.

~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~~
With respect to the movie question, it's kind of cool and interesting that some of the scary memories are about movies that wouldn't necessarily be classified as "horror movies".
I kept trying to think of an answer to the scary movie question, but once I've seen a movie a couple of times it would have to be very unusual circumstances for me to not know the scare was coming and therefore not react to it too much. I used to have really bad nightmares after scary movies, so I used to purposely step myself out of the movie by chanting to myself "this is not real this is not real." It stopped the nightmares but has also made me feel the scares less often.
I am an introvert.
5 for me, although the arrested one was a little tricky. I was detained once, but not actually arrested.
