Professional wrestling is a brutal form of entertainment. The outcome of the matches is predetermined but the pain and injuries are real.

Hall of Fame QB Bart Starr has died. He was the Super Bowl Winning All Pro for Lombardi’s Green Bay Packers and paved the way for the likes of Joe Montana and Tom Brady in the NFL. He had been in failing health the last few years. Bart Starr was 85. God bless @ktvu

RIP Mr Starr. He was my first favorite quarterback when I started watching pro football in the 60’s. Until the Seattle Seahawks started playing I was always a Packers fan.

Gene Wilder has passed. So sad. He was a great actor and a very good comedian.

Aww, I knew Beth was in a medically induced coma.

She had throat cancer that came back.

Dog had posted on Instagram and asked that people not make statements and that an official statement would be forthcoming.

I really liked her. 😢

I saw a notice on my phone that Lee Iacocca had died at age 93, but I haven't seen it anywhere else.

Ok, I googled it.... Iacocca resided in Bel Air, Los Angeles, California, during his later life. He died on July 2, 2019, at his home in Bel Air, at the age of 94. The cause was complications of Parkinson's disease.

Wow, he lasted a long time.
I first heard of him when I was in 6th grade in Detroit and had to debate the pro side of Expressways are Death Traps". My dad worked for Ford, as did Lee Iacocca, and used a quote from him.
