Like many of you, we don't eat much bread. I used to make a loaf every week, but since DH moved off to college, it's too much.

HOWEVER, to answer the question:
Depends on whether I've made the loaf. If so, I get one and DH gets the other - it's the best part!

If we've bought a loaf (happens once every couple of months or so), we leave it to cover the end and then eat it like we would any other piece.

Ok, am I the only one who throws away the end pieces of bread after eating the loaf?

Jmm, no, you're not the only one. I throw them away too.

I think we throw them away here too. I am not allowed in the kitchen much at my house, except to clean up. Food service does not like me to be underfoot when he is creating.

Mostly throw them away here. Occasionally, we might eat one as a toast slice.

Bread is my favorite food and I love the ends. Except if I am eating white bread (Yes I eat white bread) Those get ripped up and tossed to the birds and squirrels.

Not sure about bread for all critters but it can be deadly for ducks.. All our parks with ponds have warning signs.

LOL @ JMM! During the school year, I'm pretty sure I'd never even notice if DH went away to college until I had to do the dishes myself!

We always eat the end pieces.

I saw this somewhere and I thought it was kind of fun.

New Question:

You have to wear your most recent text message on your shirt. What's written on your shirt?

(Skip one word ones like "Okay" or "Yes")

When I saw this question my most recent text message was "Looks like you made it!"

It was a link to a website listing affordable housing complexes, sent to a young woman who is currently homeless.

I just re-read the question.

By 'your most recent text' do you meant the most recent one received or sent?

"Anything from target?"

And it was sent on 6/14, as that's how frequently I use my phone.

LOL - this question was more complicated than I thought. I meant the last one you sent. It's just for fun though. Now I'm going to go look at the last one I received ......

I think having two teenage daughters, I get far more texts than I would ever otherwise.
