What a timely question. Not because someone is throwing wads of money at me, but because for a change I actually have an answer. Normally I don't want all that much, but right now I have a dilema and I know exactly how I'd use a bunch of money on myself.

I recently started back to school working on an AA degree. And I have realized I have absolutely no where in the house to work without being disturbed. Not on purpose, kids are 18 and 20 so they do what they can to let me have a few hours a day to study. But, they are in and out of the house, or hanging around for the day. One of them comes in, or mom, or Darren, and start talking then, "Oh oops, sorry didn't realize you were studying."

Problem is we have an open floor plan downstairs. So even sitting at the table (which is what I'm doing now) if they are watching tv or talking or whatever, I'm hearing it. Or walking into the kitchen or down the hall and I'm sitting there getting distracted.

I'd take that money and buy a shed. Yep, my she shed! A new desk, maybe a file cabinet and some shelves and some lighting. A new laptop to work on. And if I had anything left, some decorations or art to make it more me. And then I'd have some place to go and shut the door and study, lol. To be fair, I want a she shed anyway, but I actually have a reason for one now, lol.

House is paid for & pretty much remodeled on the outside. I need a "fixer upper" to do some much needed work inside but, I will need to pay for somewhere to rent to live while this is being done. Yep, I could spend that $10 g - no problem!

Finally came up with an answer. Hire someone to clean the kitty litter box (when I get another kitty) and hire a masseuse. Now off to find a kitty litter cleaner/masseuse.

Tough question because of the no-donation clause!

I would get new kitchen cabinets, countertops and wall coverings. If there was any money left over, I would book a trip somewhere.

I have a thousand little things for a handy man to do at my house. Toilet runs, baseboards need repair in some places, pictures hung level, outside faucet leaks, trees trimmed......You get the picture. And the rest of it, I would have someone take the rock up out of the back yard and landscape it.

If it can't be donated in any way...

Take my parents on a visit to my son and DIL's in Fredericton, NB. Maybe we could swing over to Halifax, NS to visit DIL's parents, as I would love for my parents to meet them

I'm very close to everyone and would love for us have to get together. This would honestly be a dream come true

New question(s). Might be hard to answer from memory but perhaps from what was typical at the time...

A) What did you typically drink when you were very young?

B) What did you typically drink as a teenager?

C) What do you typically drink now?

A) Milk. I don't think we ever had water. I know we never had any sort of juice. Many children were given tea but I never liked it.

B) Something called "squash," which you buy in bottles (orange flavour, lemon flavour etc.) and dilute with water. It was probably mostly sugar.

C) Water.

Lactose intolerant so I leaned towards juices like apple juice.
As a teenager soda pop like ginger ale Orange Crush and root beer etc etc.
Nowadays it's mostly water juice or herbal tea with the occasional ginger ale.
