One of the former Royal spokespersons opined that it had to be serious to be inpatient that long and to cut out duties until Easter. Said not to be cancer and she had not been dragging around prior to the announcement, seeming fit as usual and athletic.

Abdominal surgeries are rough. I had 2 within a year. A friend just came home from 9 days in the hospital after abdominal surgery and has restrictions for at least the next 6-8 weeks.
