Juju, I get a ring, and can see the caller id, then it just goes away. Persistent.. Some numbers, probably spoofed, appear over and over.

Someone here at tvch posted about nomorobo, which is where I learned of it.

AT&T doesn't allow nomorobo. Both my land line and cell are AT&T.

Some cell carriers do and more will.. I think I could sign up for my cell on Tracfone but there is a fee and my cell is off at least 90% of the time.

Damn... I've got an AT&T cell phone. Coverage is horrible in our area, so I don't have much choice.

New Q: Is there such a thing as yogurt with low sugar content? I haven't had much luck in finding any, so thought I would ask.

Sugar occurs naturally in milk, so they all have some.

That said, the Greek yogurts have lower natural sugar content, about 8 grams per cup. 16 grams per *cup* (16 oz) is natural for other yogurt.

So, if it's any more than that, it's added sugar.

Hope that helps!

Dipo, just noticed that chart is from 2009.....so dated. Just checked my fage 2% carton. One cup has 9 g.

Thanks Abby I will check that out.

Thanks Karuna, I have to say I was shocked when I saw how much sugar was in them, LOL.

Yeah, the thing is those nutrition panels don't specify naturally occurring sugar versus *added* sugar, which is what you want to avoid.

Why is naturally occurring sugar any better for you than added sugar?

Jimmer, I think the point is that why add sugar when there is already naturally occurring sugar there. Calories calories calories

Naturally occurring sugar is still sugar, so too much will still cause problems, but naturally occurring sugar in something usually is part of a package (the fruit, the vegetable, the diary product etc.) that has a reasonable balance of fibre or protein that reduces the spike in blood sugar levels that the sugar makes. But if you then double that sugar the balance goes out of whack and it can produce a sugar spike that messes with your insulin levels.

But cane sugar, honey, the other sugar things like that are all the same, none better than the other in terms of sugar spikes or calories.

It's sort of like all the extra sodium added to preserve food. I try to avoid that as well, figure I get enough salt just naturally in food.

Sugar is just one of the carbohydrates. The other carbohydrates are starches (complex carbs which breakdown into simple sugars) and fibers.

I read recently that the FTC realizes that the do not call registry isn't working, so they are working with or urging carriers to incorporate nomorobo or another app that sounds less easy to use, to toil these people.

I still get one ring before the call is nuked an today I had 7 of these calls so far.

On Tracfone I think you have to pay a monthly fee. If I had my phone on as much as most people, it probably would be worth it.

Anyway hopefully nomorobo will be more widely available in time.

Color.. I think I got the info from you, here at tvch.

New Q: Cleaning up my storm damage, one item of which is to replace the bulb on the outside balcony. Got the cover off, and went inside to clean it and it started to rain. So here's the question

1. Now the inside of the fixture is getting wet, do I have to dry it before I replace the bulb?

2. When I touched the bulb it came back on, so should I replace it anyway?

Dipo, anything dealing with electricity worries me. I would leave it until it is all dry.
