JMM, I hate to say it, but Walmart (and probably Target, I don't shop there) usually has decent throws for good prices. Walmart I know also has the sets you can make yourself...two sheets of fabric, you put them together, cut and knot. I did those one year for the kids and they love them...think they were around $10-$15.

TJ Maxx usually has a lot of them.. and less likely to be ones that shed.

I did get a nice thick one at Sam's club once too.

I like kmart because nobody shops there at the one by me. I always get a great parking spot and there are no lines. If you become a shopping member you get points for your purchases for money off your next purchase and they are always emailing me coupons for $10.

I just ordered online and got $20% off the total, had $8 in points and free shipping. This order now gives me $30 towards my next purchase.

I can't handle Walmart. That store gives me the heebie jeebies. It's way to big and crowded and the parking lot is a nightmare.

We lost our last Kmart a couple years ago. Year and a half maybe? I really dislike Walmart, complain about it every time I have to go, but Target is across town and I really don't like going there. Traffic is horrible over that way (probably the worst street for traffic in the city.)

LOL, Grooch, I shall try to remember to do some shopping at Kmart. I despise Walmart, will not go there, no matter what.

Hmmm, I think a minor miracle has occurred. I have been really worried about my tax returns because I had an unexpected sale of stock (cash merger) and then got a lucrative contracting job.

I knew I was going to have to pay back all the subsidies I received for my Obamacare ( I did) and yet I somehow will get a small refund.!

And I can't really understand it but I am getting a refund from California as well. I guess it is the year for me to get a refund. Normally I get a fed refund and have to pay the state, or vise versa. And last year I had to pay the state so I guess it is time for a refund.

But a quick question, is there a minimum you have to earn from someone to receive a 1099? I had a couple of tiny jobs and haven't received a 1099 from them both are less than $200 each.

They don't have to send one if they paid you less than $600. (But you still have to add it into your taxable income.)

Thanks Kitt, I added it but wasn't sure if I needed to wait to file my taxes until I received the 1099.

It looks like Caitlyn Jenner has had some unfortunate facial plastic surgery.

I think for people who normally only see her on magazine covers and television interviews she does look a bit different - as do all celebrities who don't photoshop!

It looks more like makeup application. A lot of people use color/shading to create a more sculpted look... or she's spent too much time tanning or is using too much bronzer...

Quite honestly it looks to me like her wig is slipping and her facelift has started to sag at the jowls (as it does for all of us at a certain age).

I don't see anything different. She may be sad but she's not alone.

I'm just grateful that for the most part, I'm not subject to stealth photos ..

New Q: Is something wrong with the internet? I saw some messages from friends that gmail was not working and I have had difficulty accessing some websites so was wondering.
